I don't think someone is less of a fan because they didn't actually attend/graduate, but I think it is interesting. The stereotype is that 90% of SEC fans did not go to college at all.

Whether college-educated or not, it is remarkable just how much better informed SEC fans are about their team/conference/sports in general. SEC fans know more about their opponents schools than Big 12 fans know about their own team.
