They don’t “own America.” If a company buys and develops a property into something that creates American jobs and that they pay taxes on, it’s their property.
Besides, the only companies you should be worried about owning anything in the US are Chinese companies. Chinese companies are (at least in part) owned by the CCP. Very fascist model they’ve got going on.

I’m a HUGE fan of Rogue Trader. One thing Owlcat does really well, is listen to their fans’s feedback. I have every confidence they're gonna knock it out of the park. Cant wait for their “Expanse” game too.

As to your comment about the Xenos companions, Inquisitors (similar to Rogue Traders) are afforded a very long leash with regard to their means and methods of advancing the interests of the imperium. You have some inquisitors that are hardline and would kill every xenos on sight, and others that are less fanatical/more flexible if it serves their goals.
After how damn good Rogue Trader was, Owlcat has earned the benefit of the doubt from me, even if this is their first foray into a shooter.
Then you may be interested in an upcoming game called Exodus. A lot of the OG Mass Effect team have been working on this for quite a while. Gives me serious hope that it could be the real spiritual successor to the ME trilogy.

Just watched the first 3 episodes this evening.

I didn’t mind season 2, but this has been 10x better so far.

Empire was my favorite TW. This is a bit different. The whole game is played on the overworld map. You have to manage frontlines, air, navy, your production lines, spies, research and special projects as well as resistance in occupied territory, all the while selecting “focuses” from a tree that will take your country down either historical routes or Alternate history paths. No game you play will ever play out the same way, so pretty much infinite replay-ability, but with new features continually being added throughout its 8 year life-span (with more to come), it can be overwhelming for a new player to hop in and learn. It’s almost worth swapping back to an old version of the game that was much more simplistic to learn core mechanics. Then once you become more comfortable you could try the more recent versions of the game. Just my honest opinion, because I’d hate to see someone invest money into the game, only to feel overwhelmed and quit after their first attempt.

Been playing since the beginning, have like 800 hours logged and havent truly played in almost a year. I don’t get the opportunity to play much anymore, since If I’m gonna play a scenario, it can take 6 or so hours because I pause often and micro my frontlines a lot (something that is kind of needed if you’re playing a minor nation with a low manpower pool). I’m definitely a sucker for the “reforming the Austro-Hungarian Empire” path though. Love all the alt-history options. Hope the next DLC is a Japan/Pacific Theater rework with some better focus trees for all the nations that were historically involved.

He’s on Amazon Prime’s election coverage.
I love all of the games you listed, and I will say that Ghost of Tsushima is a must-play.
That being said- I usually HATE online multiplayer games. Despite this, I ended up getting Helldivers 2.
I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve had this much fun gaming. $40 for an incredibly fun, well-developed game. No pay-to-win and zero incentive for anyone to PK. Plus the satire and Starship Troopers-type humor is awesome.

That was a long-arse time ago. Long before his dumbass hired a DC who had literally never called offensive plays to be OC for his second year QB.

ETA - TD doesnt like cyrillic characters haha

re: your year in gaming 2023

2023 was an amazing year for gaming. Started off real strong for me with the Dead Space remake. I was a little late to the game, but ended up getting Elden Ring and loved it. Then picked up Jedi: Survivor and had a blast with it. So much improved on the previous title. After that, i finally got around to playing Days Gone and opine it might be the most underrated game to come out on PS4. Baldur’s Gate 3 was such a pleasant surprise. It’s the type of game that Bioware wishes they could make Dragon Age into. So refreshing to see a studio actually care about the end product and continually listen to the community, providing massive updates regularly. Only game I wanted but havent been able to pick up yet is Lies of P. Figured it would be worth it since I liked Sekiro so much and it seems to be pretty similar.

There is a reason we got rid of the drunk hobbit
Mass Effect Trilogy. Only time I can recall a game/s making me emotional with regards to the characters and story.
Didnt Tebow win the Heisman with Florida going 9-4 in ‘07?
I’m ADD as hell. Life is having 17 browser tabs open in my brain at once, with any 3 of them playing music at any given time. So yes. My inner monologue is quite often a song stuck in my head.

We’ve never had a qb as dynamic as he is running the ball.

That’s a pretty bold claim, considering how damn good Hurts was with his legs…
Did you just start you first playthrough? Mid - late game you really become a lot less reliant on melee, so it’s not too big a deal. I really enjoyed the game and the melee wasn't a detractor for me, but I suppose everyone has their own tastes. I’m actually gonna go back and replay the game now that the story DLC is out.
