So you're saying that half of his recruiting classes (actually 2/3rds as 2009 was patch job from Tuberville's commits) make up 70% of the team?
Interdasting.

Chiz had more time to recruit than Saban when each was hired at their institutions. Fact is, Chiz is in his 4th yr, he's signed 105 players in his time there. All this, we're young talk is a crutch. Keep blaming Tubs though. Yall have become the Obama's of the football world.

Look at who you have bolded, then find the duplicate name. Just like where's waldo.

and go back to the quotes you provided, what was he talking about, Starters or the team in general?
He was talking about the team in general, but when you've got 20+ juniors and seniors in your two-deep, there's no reason to even bring it up. It's not like all of those 4th string redshirt players are going to be hurting him on Saturday afternoons. Amirite?

Has to be Alabama. how can this happen??. .they only have 9 scholarship seniors... The University of Alabama has nine scholarship seniors on its roster, and among FBS schools, only Indiana, Colorado and Rice have fewer
.Alabama was tied for the top spot before awarding a scholarship to senior long-snapper Carson Tinker. The other scholarship seniors are Nico Johnson, Robert Lester, Jesse Williams, Chance Warmack, Barrett Jones, Michael Williams, Quinton Dial and Damion Square.

Everyone knows that Alabama putting players into the NFL early is the exact same as Auburn putting top prospects into Arkansas Baptist College...

How many juniors are Indiana, Colorado, and Rice putting into the first round of the NFL Draft these days?

quote:Difference is, that coach's team is ranked #2 in the country, with high expectations. Auburn's perennially young team is unranked and not expected to compete for any titles.. You can be young and be good. The two are not mutually exclusive. Look at LSU last year..

That is certainly part of it, numbers can be twisted. Auburn has 13 seniors I believe. Two years ago, Auburn had 2 juniors leave early. Alabama had 3 last year.. Trent Richardson, Dont’a Hightower and Dre Kirkpatrick, not sure how many in 2010 (Ingram, others?).
