The only coach Chizik might be more hands on then is Mark Richt.

You're so quick to try to defend a slight that was never there to begin with. Slow your roll
It's just silly to say he doesn't recruit against anybody when most of the guys he gets are 3 and 4 stars with a 5 mixed in who have offers from all over the country. He is also going after national kids as well but even in state kids don't all just automatically sign with LSU because of the name. If that were true the early 90's would never have happened to us.

that having one legit FBS team in your state doesn't make a difference.
You can't argue that and keep a straight face. It's only been recently that Alabama (and Auburn once or twice) has crossed the state line and beaten you out for a kid.

There's always some reason for it. Ask Miami if it mattered in the 90s. Ask Florida State.

Meanwhile, LSU has gotten Travis Daniels and Patrick Peterson. Perry Riley and Kelvin Sheppard. Matt Flynn and Jamarcus Russell. Why are we getting all of these top recruits out of Georgia, Florida, and Tejas? Oh, because we are the only school in Louisiana.

Please name Chiz's or Hunchback's upsets.State rolls over like the Dogs they are
According to Vegas:
2009- Kentucky and Mississippi
2010- Georgia and Florida
2011- none
So, 4 upsets in 3 years so far while taking over a turd program

You guys might be better off on the Tiger Rant.

This is a discussion, not an acquiescence. You are making your points. They aren't very persuasive. The problem is with you and your argument and your lack of substantiation. Not with me, chief.

I find your points to be even less persuasive than you find mine.
So there, chief.

What cracks me up is without Cam Newton there isn't even a discussion here.

I don't really care. I won't cry about the fact that you aren't persuaded. I'll act like a grown man and accept that an Auburn fan can have a differing opinion from me.
If I make a bunch of assertions that are untrue yet impossible to quantify, I'm sure you would try and refute them too. For instance: recruiting at Auburn is the easiest job in the country. The built in tie to Georgia talent that wants to play out of state but still close enough to home makes it easy. The relationship of respect between AU and UGA makes it miles easier for a Georgia prospect to leave to go to AU, giving them a decisive advantage that frames all of their success. A Georgia player can leave the state and play for AU without receiving much backlash. Pretty much recruits itself. 18 Georgia players on that roster. Wow.

I shouldn't be surprised that Cam Newton, if on anybody's mind, would still be on yalls.

Don't forget the Manning Brothers, I mean they were from New Orleans for crying out loud, Just because they're dad played for Ole Miss, the simple fact that they were born in this state with no other D-1 they should have been beating down the doors to play here. After all it's that easy to recruit here.

exactly
Cheez is a defensive coach and hasnt had shite to do with the offense- and on his watch Auburn has been 11th, 9th, and 11th on defense. Yeah- he's doing a bang up job

Brought a national championship to Auburn. First one in a while, aren't you the one that's comparing prior coaching results with Mullen? Good luck beating ole miss again.

The fact is we had Cam and won the National Title and totally took the fight out of MSU with that goal line stand last year and it eats the bulldogs up that Cam went elsewhere. The other fact is Mullen will leave MSU high and dry when something better comes his way.
