Les did not have a very good '08 showing coming off a NC year. He was forgiven for that season due to QB issues. Bama running the table in '09 didn't help Les' popularity either. But his turn around in '10 swayed the opinions back in his favor. And last season speaks for itself, he had his best year ever in '11.

Just imagine how popular Les would be if Saban had stayed in Miami and Bama would still be struggling (assuming they hadn't made a better hire than CNS).

It would be off the charts.......

So do we all finally know what the obviously correct answer to this question is, or do Auburn fans want to keep being in denial and do Bama fans want to keep trolling LSU fans?

Glad we settled that.

Given the results that Mullen beat Chizik, this thread is somewhat more hilarious.

Miles is better than Chizik, I'd much rather have Petrino if both were on the market though.

The question now becomes, would you still choose Eugene over the Hunchback Grinder as you posited on pg. 1?

About the only coach I would take over Chizik at this point in time is Saban

Hmm. Petrino is a scumbag who would cause your program pain in the end or miles who by all accounts is a standup guy and can go toe to toe with the almighty at fb powerhouse bama. Makes sense to choose petrino

The answer is you have to have someone else available so you aren't choosing Miles. Too bad Pat Dye said AU has too much integrity ( ) to hire BMFP.
