This Arkansas team is starting to remind me of the 2009 LSU team....obviously I think LSU had more talent....but both teams just got hot at the same time and could do no wrong in Omaha.
I still stand by my prediction that if Arkansas won today they would win the whole thing....I still think so.

Arkansas pitching still has a 1.00 ERA in the CWS. You aren't going to lose when that happens.

I told my wife the same thing. The difference is that LSU had better offense than the Hogs do this year.

Yep.....very similar...although the Hogs got a litte more battle test in the supers.

Great defensive game. USCe made some outstanding defensive plays, Hog's pitching was very good.

The good news for the temporary Armchair Hogs is that USC will probably start Jordan Montgomery against Kent St. He is the only other pitcher on the roster that hasn't started with a significant number of starts.
Then when they get back to you all the good news is Webb will probably still be on the shelf I would think.....In fact the staff doesn't really look good for that game in all honesty...then if they have to play a second game against ya'll Ray Tanner might start pitching
ETA I suppose they could start Price somewhere at some point.

Arkansas has used two bullpen arms in the CWS. Still have Suggs, Sanburn, Lynch and Moore. I feel like I am forgetting someone though...

Yea SC has a lot of high appearance low ERA bullpen guys as well....I just don't know as much about them as I do the starters
