are dressing up to football games. Make jabs at Ole Miss folks but at the end of the day your fans are doing the same. And actually, the only 'tie wearers' are the frat boys who have to at OM.

I was always a jeans and polo guy

i used to dress up when i was an undergrad. back then it was more about looking good and trying to score some poon. now i wear a jersey to the game because i feel it shows more support for my team than jeans and a polo, and I make my old lady wear a jersey to the big games too. sometimes i let her wear a dress if she really wants to

We did in the early to mid 90s. By the late 90s, nobody gave a shite anymore.

Maybe the trend is shifting. I know Arkansas is frattier now than it was back then.

Meh, plenty of jeans and jerseys at Ole Miss back in November.

BTW y'all get away with dressing up because you aren't allowed to cook while tailgating

I wasn't aware that "jeans and polo" was "dressing up"...

What happened to that reporter that used to do the fashion article about what she saw in the Grove each week? Those were hilarious.

Is this saying that only at OM frat boys make kids wear ties?

I know a handful of SEC schools where pledges have to wear ties to games/tailgate (ours included)

I have been to every LSU home game the last 6 years.

You obviously haven't been there or saw a small group in "comfortable attire".

The students are still wearing khakis and button downs, freshmen with ties, and the girls are dressing up as well.

Alums also.

You certainly don't see as many "jersey wearers" like in Gainesville.

I wore khaki shorts and a polo to almost every home game this year... even Clemson, because it was still 70 degrees in November. Only game I remember being cold was @UT.

except LSU? I've been to every SEC campus on gameday except USC, and we dress up more than Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vandy, Arkansas, and definitely now Texas A&M and Mizzou. What are you smoking?

They always put the weirdos in the student section on TV, but I'd say half of our students "dress up" to games.

Is this a serious post???

I always wear jeans and a polo(usually dri-fit) to the games and I'm far from dressed up. Only dressed up people I see at home games are fratstars and Rich folk that sit in the suites
----------------------------------------------
OH and BTW grown men should refrain from wearing a jersey to a game......
that shite is gheyer than Richard Simmons riding a pink unicorn

I have relatively been seeing the same thing year after year from the same fan bases for many years. There is no schools dressing up more. It's pretty much always been the same.

However, in my gradfather's school pic when he attended LSU, he's wearing a purple & gold beanie cap. Pretty sure people don't do this anymore.

Well maybe I-59 or blueridge tiger do.
