re: 2014 Conference Schedule: No More Band Aid?

Well, as "fair" as it could be.

Just make the division games count for getting to the SEC title game. Then it doesn't matter how easy bama and Georgia have it.
Of course USC and LSU voted for this last year in Destin, but it didn't pass.
Who was leading the charge NOT to institute this change that is fair and makes common sense?
yup - bama
They get what they want. At least for now.

Why won't LSU embrace the rivalry with Florida?
1. Not a real rivlary
2. The loser is usually out of the SEC race.
3. MOSTLY because the pukes in the SEC office make it as easy for bama as possible by making these two teams play each other every year.

Yes.
Mark Womack will make certain bama doesn't break a sweat until the play A&M and LSU.

Ole Miss will be at best 2 - 4 when LSU rolls into Oxford.
LSU will have MUCH more to play for in this game.
Tough, but comfortable win for the Tigers against a dejectet team on the slide.

One rush for 19 yds against bama.
Gee, one around the end in that game at some point (like the 4th qtr) would have been fine. Clemson as well.
I saw him play in HS. Could EASILY have thrown on a run/pass option to the outside from the wildcat.
Coaches waste - pure and simple.
Wish him well - he never complained and represented LSU in fine fashion.

AND, if accepting the fact that "permanent" opponents will stay, then why not have just your divisional games count toward going to the SEC title game?
USC and LSU voted for this measure in Destin during the past conference meetings. bama voted against that measure.
Gee, could it be because they know they have the easiest road? Pussies.
If anyone from bamaland disagrees with the "myth", the above says it all. Not counting the huge edge provided by the officials.

Or if the SEC office were in New Orleans with LSU grads employed.
The bama tea-baggers and Updykes would be at DEFCON 5.

If the SEC and Mark Womack had any integrity on the 2013 schedule, they would have flipped bama and LSU games against KY and GA.
THAT would have been fine.
Maybe we need an Auburn grad working on this?

The 2012 and 2013 schedules were part of Mark Womack's responsibility. Tuscaloosa native, bama grad, worked in bama's athletic department.
NO CHANCE of bias there.
And regarding the UT rivalry "must", the OU - Nebraska game was and is far more relevant than UT and bama. Give that a rest.

Um. Ok. Who is Anthony Chambers?
DITTO.
bama wears them down in the last 20 minutes, if not sooner, and wins by 25.

This isn't an LSU site. Alabama was called for holding in the game btw. The o line played great though, big part of why Bama pulled off the win.
One time. In the first quarter - and it wasn't a hold, it was a tackle.
bama won and LSU had too many chances to seal the deal and didn't. NO execuses for LSU not putting it away. And bama made the plays at the end to win.
Simple to understand.
But any bama fan has their head on backwards if they don't know bama gets away with murder on the line.
FACT from stats on bama's football website:
In the last six SEC games of 2009, including the SEC title game against the gators, bama had NO holding penalties. Go figure?
This year, one against Mizzou and LSU. Both in the first qtr.
Oh well.

We'd be in big trouble.

wins?
Don't see either D giving up more than that without deep turnover or ST play.
Hoping it is not a snoozer like 12 to 7 and a lot of punts.
Fans have the want and deserve more.
