that we (MSU) are under official investigation for Cam Newton recruitment. I say bring it on.

Probably too late for public opinion to care, but hopefully it will put to bed once and for all that the only dirty shite that went down with Cam was on your end.

Considering that Cam went to Auburn instead of State it couldn't have been that dirty of stuff going on by the behalf of Mississippi State.
Couldn't be much different than what the former Auburn players said on HBO.

Ugh, this was common knowledge as of last year. This is what cracked me up about the entire thing. Auburn came out clean yet MSU disassociated a booster and had the FBI interview everyone from MSU's side and yet Auburn was the center of attention.
If MSU is clear in other aspects not much will come of this other than a few scholies lost, that said if it turns out Rogers, Bell, Bonds and others were doing this more often you could see some rough times ahead.

IIRC, there were multiple former MSU players involved with Cecil. And, they were actively marketing Cam to MSU, "at a discount".....
If I were you, I'd just want this saga to die a lonely death and leave the water under the bridge.

AU has 4 former players admitting to a few thousand each from boosters/coaches.
MSU has former players running an auction block system on behalf of MSU with Cecil Newton.
Both look like a field-day for the NZAA, IMO.
