It blows my mind that anyone would think that's a good idea at all, let alone argue like a blowhard to a distinguished guest like that.
I could post a tl;dr rant about how that is completely devoid of logic, but I'll spare you. But I don't care if Bama wins by 1 point and the next most viable option is a one loss Boise State and LSU is the only team with a snowball's chance in hell of blocking Bama from another National Championship. It's the stupidest thing possible to make an already flawed BCS system even more ridiculously flawed.

LOL, reading this for the first time now. It's funny cause it's legitimately first page and didn't even require a bump.

From B'ham, definitely go 20/59. Save an hour.
I used to live in B'ham and live in NOLA now. Made those drives more than I'd like to.
And I'll be at the game.

Wow, he was contractually obligated as an Auburn beatwriter to write an Auburn book.
I know the Evan Woodberry that is an Alabama alumnus. Who wrote for the Crimson White. Who started as the Bama beatwriter for the Anniston star.

I think 2010 was the first year auburn beat a decent bama team in Tuscaloosa

Ding ding ding we have a winner! It was actually only the second time AU beat a Bama team in BDS that end the season with 10 wins. The first was the 2002 team. Which was the start of the probation sqads.
That's one more quality Alabama team Auburn beat than any quality team Auburn beat there. You guys kill me with this quality qualifier. Any year Alabama loses the Iron Bowl, it wasn't a quality team.
You've only beaten Auburn in Tuscaloosa once ever (2008), and that was by no exaggeration the worst Auburn team this millenium.

I mean, I hate to start on this, but whether guys are going out for the draft that shouldn't even be thinking about that right now, whether we're worrying about the Heisman trophy, now we're worried about playing Missouri rather than playing Tennessee somewhere down the road. I could give a shite about all that. Excuse my French. I mean, come on. Let's talk about the game. What year are we talking about. When we're not gonna play Tennessee? 2025? I'm just hoping that I can still go to the lake then. Still can walk around and go on a pontoon ride."

It was the right call. Dude (who muffed other punts) waved the fair catch late. Defender did all he could with the established momentum to avoid contact, which he managed to do. It was close, but correct.
LOL'ed pretty hard at the sideline reporter saying the refs told Boom if he would just calm down, they would explain the rule to him, but "he was unable to do so."

Corndogs even bitch about the right calls in games they're not involved in...

If I were you, when the banks open tomorrow, I'd got right up to a teller and ask them to give you all their money. By your logic, they should be more than happy to give it to you.
Good luck, sweety!
And if they say no, just go to the bank next door and ask. Surely you won't settle for "No" a second time.

It has been discussed, but the assumption that Cecil actively approached MSU is nothing but that. An assumption.
You want to talk logic, how about considering for a second, that the MSU "recruiters", who admitted the story has absolutely nothing to do with Auburn, offered a player money to play for their shite-tier school. Cecil may have fleetingly considered this, but when it all started blowing up in his face, said "frick this, we're going to Auburn." The idea that corruption started and ended in MSU is supported by the fact that every other coach who recruited Cam said they saw nothing unusual.
