No disrespect here - But, how the frick is everything ok? If former MSU players arranged meetings with MSU coaches in an effort to administer a P4P scheme with Bishop Newton?

I understand that Mullen, and possibly his wife, went to hotel to meet with Cam's parents who were staying there. Cecil didn't let the cat out of the bag till Mullen was there and that is when Rogers said that he represented Cam and the money cam up. As soon as this was said Mullen said "I'm not going to listen to any of this" and left

Problem is even if this went down. Mullen, per NCAA is to stop recruitment and inform the NCAA. This again, is where I see it coming back to bite ya in the arse

However, MSU did continue recuit Cam, knowing this was going on. Do you not think that this might be a problem for MSU? What if he had signed with MSU, would they have still let the cat out of the bag? This is the only thing I see as something that might comeback to bite MSU in the arse. There might be some other stuff that none of us know yet, also. Again, as said before, I dont think hammer, but I do think they will recieve a secondary.

As i remember it explained to me they would have reported it anyway and then MSU would have to rule him ineligable and petition for the NCAA to reinstate him, much the same way AU did. Except we knew it would take them for ever to respond so he would sit out his first year and then come in his senior year. There is no law that the NCAA has that states you cannot continue recruiting the player as long as you have notified the NCAA that your intensions are to rule him as ineligable and apply for reinstatement

Nope, I doubt any of this ever gets out if Cam signs with State.

Problem is, State didn't, so it doesn't matter.

As for Dye being back the picture: He did some great things at Auburn, but he did cheat. Is he still cheating? I've got no idea.

bama fans like to pretend that Pat Dye is the Evil Genius CEO of the Auburn program much akin to Michael Douglas in "Wall Street".

When the fact is the man spends most of his time on his ranch, in his cabin sipping some Evan Williams, hunting, and doing charity events than anything.

The man is now old, taking it easy, kicking back and enjoying retirement. But if it makes them feel better to picture him as The Puppet Master, more power to'em.

Serious question, did they fire the compliance guy or did he quit?

I think that the NCAA changed the rules to allow for more staffers, so this would be in adition to the people already working there.
