And, the NCAA can not let parents run around pimping out their kids to the highest bidder without some consequences either

They didn't seem to have a problem with that part.

they definitely had a problem. They just didn't want to punish a school that wasn't involved and a kid that they couldn't show was involved.

I understand completely, I don't know for sure it was Cecil and Cam on the tape, but I know what I heard and Bond claims it's Cecil and said he had tapes with Cam and Kenny also. He said Stricklin told him it was time to let this shite die and get out of the spotlight.

John Bond, Kenny Rogers and Bell are all associated with MSU in form or fashion, are they not?

And, who the hell do you think made the first contact? Cecil Newton or Kenny Rogers?

And, how the hell did Rogers know who the money man (Bell) was for MSU?

To be honest, I don't know why the hell MSU wanted this shite to hit the light of day.

Again, haven't they admitted the tapes were voicemails? So you are saying there are complete conversations on voicemails that are over 30 minutes?

"I've got tapes but I ain't-a gonna play'em" = you got nothin'

"I've really got tapes but when I talked to the NCAA and they asked me what I knew and what I had, I chose to keep them secret" = permanent disassocation

That is for Bond, Stricklin and the university to tell. I don't want anyone showing up at my house, I will be like a nother person said associated with State athletics said, I don't know shite, don't call me.

Kenny Rogers probably made first contact, acting as a street agent to convince Cam to go to State. Then Cecil probably asked for money. Rogers then presents this request to boosters, coaches, etc. and it is turned down.

Then Cecil goes to Auburn, and either asks for the same thing, and gets it. or he lies saying State offered 180k and Auburn says "well we will pay 200k." That is my theory, but then again there is that possibility we accepted the request of Cecil, and Auburn outbid us.

I highly doubt we offered him money, especially after the Hell we endured after the Sherrill days, and we are just now starting to get back on track as a football program, what state alumni wants to put ourselves in that situation again?

Well hell yeah - Stricklin knows this shite ain't good for MSU. Stricklin, Mullen and any other MSU fan should want his shite to die and stay buried.

Former players of a program administering P4P scheme's, setting up meeting, phone calls, text messages, voice mail messages about P4P is not something any program should welcome. Regardless if the dude hasn't been "involved" with MSU for over a decade. It only takes one incident for the NCAA to hammer your arse.

Um, they had the voicemails compiled to tapes/cd's. It's not that hard, you can find these places that do this, I know lawyers have it done. I will tell you that one part Bond said was Cecil and Kenny wanting to know if they were going to come up with the money. Other than that, you can call Bond yourself, he's listed in Ridgeland, MS. I don't give a shite what ya'll think I don't have, I never claimed to have anything, just said I heard some of it. All I know is neither one of us wants this shite to go down, neither one of our hands are clean.
