Cam, Auburn Negative Recruiting, etc...

An interesting read from TI a friend sent me this morning...little long, but worth the time,Passing on some info -

Hey guys. I thought I'd email this to you. This is from a UA trustee who is also involved with sports agent Bus Cook. He also does some work with the Sexton crew so he is plugged in to what is going on. He sends out an email about once every 3-4 months with a lot of info.___________________________________________

The first thing I’d like to do is congratulate Auburn University on a great season. Just like we did last year, Auburn won it on the field.
I’ve seen many claim it is a tainted title, but until it is proven that Auburn had shady dealings with the Newton family I will not try and tarnish their NC by talking about allegations that have yet to be proven.

Mega sports agent and good friend of mine, Bus Cook, signed Cameron Newton. Before Bus would sign Cameron he made him take a polygraph
test administered by one of the CIA’s top testers. Cameron passed every question that was asked of him. The test is on video and has
been sent to every NFL team. In Bus’s opinion, Cameron can have a better career than Brett Favre. That is not me talking, that is Bus
Cook. He says Cameron has the arm strength of John Elway. A faster release than Dan Marino and is as accurate as Tom Brady. On top of
that, he is 6’5” 250 pounds and has been clocked at a 4.48 40 yard dash. Bus told me Cameron scored a 27 the first time he took his
practice Wonderlic exam. I hope Cameron falls to the Dolphins, but I think after the Combine, he could be the first player taken in the
draft.

We have been dealing with some very aggressive Negative Recruiting from our rivals (mainly Auburn, UGA, and South Carolina) telling
prospective recruits that Coach Saban has zero faith in his backup players and refuses to put them in the game. They are using Barron
playing almost half the Auburn game with a debilitating injury instead of putting in a competent back up. Our Rivals are telling kids “look, Alabama has a bench full of 4* and 5* kids yet he (Coach Saban) has no
confidence to insert them into the game when someone is injured do you want to go and deal with something like that”. These are teenagers and
can be very impressionable especially when the topic of playing time comes up because every kid these days wants to start from Day One on
campus. This greatly hurt us with the Mitchell kid from Georgia he wanted to go to Alabama but Richt and crew kept hammering this point
home to the kid.
