I've found fans act differently at home than on the road. I've been to 5 SEC stadiums including UA's and i'm leaving them out as they are my team and I don't get a feel as an opposing fan. So, rank opposing fans from least hospitable to most based on you travelling to their stadium(remember, don't base it on rivalries or how nice the stadium was or anything else....just how big of dicks they were or werent)

My list goes like this

1. Mississippi State: I hate saying this, but they make it as unfun as it can possibly be to a game. I've seen them play Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss, and Auburn inside of Davis Wade Stadium and each of those games I saw bad shite. It's not even the cowbells, as I don't mind those. It ranges from throwing ice at Ole Miss' band to pulling down a teenage boy's shaker for no reason, to making an opposing band carry all their shite to the upper deck, to starting a fight with an LSU fan for no reason and using gay slurs. I've never seen a fanbase chuck half empty plastic bottles of dr pepper to the crowd below trying to hit and hurt one of their own fans AFTER A GOOD PLAY BY YOUR OWN TEAM!!! What's weird is, I live amongst these people and they're good people from Sunday - 4pm on Friday and assholes after that. Maybe winning will rub off on them and they will cut the shite. Bonus for horrible parking

2. Georgia: Not really that bad, but when you go you can tell the difference in hospitality between SEC East fans and SEC west fans. They were expecting us to be dicks because I think that's what they're used to in the east but slowly calmed as the game went on and were fairly nice

3. Tennessee: Hard to properly judge because I went during Fulmer's last year and they were just a broken mess of a fanbase, but they seemed like nice people anyway.

4. LSU: I went in expecting the absolute worst. I'd heard the horror stories and everything else. From the time I stepped out of the car and walked toward the stadium I had probaby 20 fans go through the same bit. bust my balls, i respond, they laugh, ask me to drink and eat with them. After the game(this was 08) they were nothing but congratulatory. Didn't have one single problem out of one single fan.

1. Georgia - "The Blackout" - Had a guy sitting behind me on the trolly tell me what a long ride home we were going to have. Had other folks scream and bark and in my face... before the game started anyway.

2. Auburn - For obvious reasons, I was not welcomed into the student section with open arms with my Alabama gear.

3. Mississippi State - Who knew Mississippi State fans hated Alabama so much?

4. Ole Miss - See #3

5. LSU - surprisingly hospitable. We went for the 2008 game, and got many compliments on our way out. Great folks for the most part, with the exception of a drunk POS or two.

6. Vandy - Hard to rank Vandy, because most of the stadium was full of Alabama fans. They don't seem to care too much about Football.

7. Arkansas - My favorite road trip to take. Although I haven't experienced their fanbase in person since 2008. Our experience in 2006 and 2008 were top notch. Great fans, great people.

8. Kentucky - by far the most gracious fan base in the SEC - in terms of football, IMO. Everyone was nice to us.

I've been to most of the SEC venues as a Bama fan, and surprisingly my two best experiences were in Gainesvile and Baton Rouge.

The only game in Gainesville I went to was in 99 when Dumbose beat Spurrier, and the fans were very congratulatory after the game.

LSU fans are very brash, but we quickly learned if you took their "Tiger Baits" in stride and laughed it off, you soon were invited into their delicious world of Cajun vittles.

That's because a really high portion of those stories are completely fabricated, or exaggerated at a minimum, by hardcore bible thumpers who are appalled that we drink.

Not at all. Hearing Rkansas fans cheer "LSU sucks!" for most of the game doesn't bother me at all. Most Rkansas fans will not say crap to you individually. They only do it in large groups.

Only seen three LSUU OM and Bama.
OM fans were just fine very quiet
Bama fans more of the same not a real big party at all
LSU fans like to drink a lot and a lot of times it makes for a bad atmosphere. Really really obnoxious BUT I will say this I have never seen them fight with an opposng fan. Many are obnoxious to the point of rdiculousness but if you see one of them n real trouble 9.99 out of 10 times they are fighting amongst each other. I have never been physically confronted at any game but have seen lots f fight never with an opposing fan. What makes there fan base catch such a bad rap s they have been viewed as a party school for so long and the couple of incidents that of course made the news like them tearing up the TN bus. Most of the base seems obnoxious but onl a small few or truly horrible and reall give the rest a worse name than they deserve

1. Auburn My favorite roadtrip. Try to make it ever time. Plus they upgraded the airport
2. Georgia Only went the last year everyone was pretty nice
3. Bama- alot of real assholes but alot of real good fans as well. Some of my best trips and some of my worst.
4. Tennessee Knoxville is alot of fun
5. Ole Miss Nice but the Grove is way overrated IMO
6. Vandy-Only because it's in Nashville. Plus we had so many extra tickets we left at halftime and had a few drinks in the bar at the hotel next to the endzone then came back in
7. Miss St. They have good Bar BQ at the stadium.
8. Arkansas- Maybe you guys could hire a Chemist who knows the formula for ice. No cups or ice in their POS stadium.
9. Florida- Cops are complete assholes as well as most of their fans I've encountered in Jortsville.
Haven't been to USCe or Ky

I even really enjoyed to OweeeO chant and I don't think you had the "suck that tiger dick bitch" chant yet but I wouldve enjoyed it too. It's almost EPL'ish in your ability to have a whole stadium eventually catch on to a song.

Spell much? Couple commas and periods would help, too.

Having not been to a lot of SEC stadiums, here is how I rank the ones I have visited:

LEAST HOSPITABLE: Ole Miss - It's hard to separate the dumpiness of that stadium from the overall experience. To be honest, I didn't even know there were any OM fans there. Very quiet. Not much interaction with us before, during or after the game. Just kind of kept to themselves.

UTENN: My only trip there was the Stoernover game. Again, the stadium was definitely not a place I would care to visit again. Not sure what was worse, the 7,240 vertical feet we had to traverse up a switchback ramp to reach our upper deck seats, or the fact that each seat on the bleacher was about as wide as one of my arse cheeks. But enough about that stadium, the fans were generally very cordial to us. Didn't taunt us after the heartbreaking loss. Most said they are worried about the expected rematch in Atlanta (that never materialized). I liked the TU band playing our fight song before the game. Only negative I saw was when they scored the go-ahead TD, there was a large group of students in the upper deck that thew an empty wine bottle from the upper deck, into the section of Hog fans below. Not sure if anyone was hit, but if they were, it was sure to injure.

LSU: My LSU-alum wife took me to an LSU-Houston game. We had a blast. Since LSU was playing Houston, I was able to wear an LSU cap and not feel like I was cheating on my Hogs. Great food. Ample booze. GOLDEN GIRLS.

I have been every where in the SEC except Arkansas. The only place I have ever had problems was Ole Miss.

Universities give opponents their share of tickets and they distribute them as they see put. Opponents determine where in the stadium the band sits, not the home team.

I actually went to the Bama LSU game this year (Cousin moved down that way). The LSU fans were really nice for the most part, especially since I decided orange wouldn't be a good color and wore purple. Had one idiot LSU fan tell me that Jarrett Lee was the best passer in the SEC

I had to leave that tailgate spot before he hit me for laughing at his arse so much.

WMS is one of the least hospitable stadiums in the SEC. We play there only because of LR boosters. I swear the seats are numbered for only one arse cheek. I can't imagine being fat and the two people next to you being able to see their seat numbers. That's why I just party on the golf course for LR games. I hope one day you corndogs will get to experience RRS, and Dickson St..

Hard to believe not that you are lying but OM and Bama fans seem so quiet almost to a fault at times. The other southern state residents overall just seem more gentile than people from Louisiana and maybe Florida as well.
