Ok, fine and fair. I'd never seen it done before. All the other stuff stands though.

Man, I live in Frisco... I will meet you at the Sherman DQ and tell you LSU sucks to your phace!!1

Then we'll have a Country Basket.

1. Mississippi State: . . . . to making an opposing band carry all their shite to the upper deck

Aha, for the first time ever, I noticed the MS band was in the upper deck at BD Stadium. I even remarked on that to all the people around me. Must have been payback for making the Million Dollar Band sit in the upper deck at Mississippi State. Or did the MS Band just enjoy carrying all that heavy equipment up that ramp.

All other bands were seated in the lower deck where they have always been.

The only SEC stadium other than BDS I have been to is LSU, I went for the Bama games in 92, 06, 08, 10. I've never had a problem. This year we sat in a LSU section in the east upper deck, my wife and I were the only Bama fans around. The guys behind us had a bottle of Crown kept my drink topped off, Everyone around us were as nice as could be. They only wanted to know how I got the tickets.

Spell much? Couple commas and periods would help, too.

And one less comma would help you.

8. Arkansas- Maybe you guys could hire a Chemist who knows the formula for ice. No cups or ice in their POS stadium.

That is a road game for us as well.

They were nice to you. They will probably eat the guy that regularly gets those tickets alive.

The one gem that I can take away from this particular post is that every team in our conference has it's share of assholes, but BY FAR the two schools who have more than the others are MSU and LSU (personally I haven't had problems with either schools fans).

If you go to enough away games in the SEC you will eventually meet a few jerks that are most likely drunk and most assuredly obnoxious.

Try and be patient and just keep in kind that they are the exception and as a general rule NOT the norm.

Geaux to hell and take the notion that Rkansas fans are the SEC's spelling impaired fanbase with you.

The other southern state residents overall just seem more gentile than people from Louisiana and maybe Florida as well.
Gentile? It is a football game, not a fricking tea party for old ladies.

Was going to post a picture of the real golden girls from this year, but I think the 80's sitcom version has them beat. So sad.

I went to the Tennessee game and it was a great experience overall. The majority of Vol fans I met were really nice and welcoming. A lot were interested in our football team and really our state as a whole. I think a good bit of them expected Oregon fans to have a "Southern California" attitude and were shocked to see the exact opposite. You had a few drunk rednecks bitching to us about how bad we and the Pac 10 suck, but that was to be expected going into it. They didn't damper my experience one bit. The stadium was pretty damn loud in the first half. The stadium was a little "cramped", but whatever. If I wanted to view the game in comfort, I would have watched it at the sports bar or at my home. Rocky Top was cool...........for the first half or so. It became a little redundant after a while. Is that really the only song they play? Overall, it was a great experience. I enjoyed the city and the fans were top notch. The Vol navy was pretty cool too.

Yes. It incites homicidal thoughts for me.

I have been to games at BDS, TN, MSU. I have had no issues at any of them. The worst (and I didn't consider it bad in any way) was being yelled at to sit down and shut up at TN during the JRussell game there a few years ago. I just laughed at them and kept on yelling for the Tigers. It actually got a few of them to try cheering louder for their beloved Vols.

It was a cool song and all, but seriously, I really don't think I heard their band play anything else.
