re: Your impression of SEC fans at their stadium

Haven't been to all of the away game locations but the few that I have this is how they rank:

1. Alabama - best fans bar none; most knowledgeable about football and for the most part pleasant to be around pre and post game.

2. Tennessee - Have made some good TN friends over the years. Pretty humble when they come to Fay and show us a good time when we are there.

3. Ole Miss - Last year was my first year to go down there; It was okay but the stories about the grove are overblown. People were nice before the game and for the most part after the game. I may have just been a little butt hurt from seeing us lose to the nuttster for the second time in a row.

4. LSU - Fun time; really energetic fan base. Like to talk a lot of trash, but for the most part I found it to be in good humor. Have not experienced the horror stories some mention.

5. Miss State would be ranked higher if it wasn’t for those damn cowbells.

6. Auburn - Alabama has always been my second favorite team so I can never support Auburn for anything... The pre game activities are something everyone should get to experience at least once in their lifetime though!

Which brings me to the last on the list of SEC schools that I have visited:

7. Florida - sucks; fans are the most obnoxious group of low life scum I have ever had the displeasure to be around. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with these idiots twice on opposing ground; once in Gainesville and again in the SEC championship. Frick them I hope a hurricane wipes that shithole off the map one day!

However the worst away game that the Hogs ever plays is at:

8. War Memorial Stadium – This place is a dump and needs to be bulldozed. I live in Central Arkansas and would still prefer that all our “home” games to be played at Fayetteville. The Arkansas fans are horrible there and really give our fan base a bad name.
