There have been a number of SEC players drafted with the first pick of the NFL draft. Which one was the worst pick?

I don’t know. That Peyton Manning guy never did anything to impress me. At least we all remember Purple Drank. Jamarcus Russell’s legacy will forever be linked with that tasty beverage.

Still had an 11 year NFL career.

It's between Couch and JaMarcus Russell. In 5 years we might be adding Tua in this conversation.

Considering he wasn't the #1 overall pick, why would you?

He also lead the NFL in passing one season so there's that.

Tua was picked at #5. Dumb to even mention him.

Unfortunately, gotta be JaMarcus.

But he still annihilated, destroyed, and embarrassed a bunch of ND douches and Fat Charlie in a bowl game, so he is A-OK in my book.

Tua had the displeasure of being drafted to the Miami dolphins. That organization is as awful as it gets with front office decisions.

Led the league in passing yards one season, completion percentage another, and passer rating another. Only on the SECr is Tua a bust.

Raise your hand if you a retarded enough to say someone who wasn't a #1 pick, led the league in passing and went to a pro bowl might be the worst #1 pick in the history of the SEC?

He was a terrible number one for sure. But he still played in the NFL for years and contributed. Russell was horrible and gone in no time.
