They barely beat a good to average Texas team and then played a baby shite soft schedule, and weren't up to par when they finally had to play top teams.

Also, Sayin is an average QB who was hyped up due to baby shite soft schedule and having one of the best college WRs ever to throw to.

Ryan Day is the most overrated coach in America. He is so fortunate that the CFP expanded when it did. Had it still been a four-team playoff in 2024, he wins nothing and is likely fired the Sunday after the Michigan game. The dude was quite literally coaching for his job in the post-season.

truth -

he's 2-5 in the post-season when Chip Kelly is not on his staff - 1-4 in CFP - lone win was Sugar Bowl Covid crowd of 3K vs Clem U -

Eli Drinkwitz beat him in the Cotton -

He’s the new Jim tressell, he’s too good to fire but he shats pants on the regular. Clem in 19, uga in 22 were complete meltdowns. His lone championship run was largely fueled by the media disrespecting the shat out of osu and the players getting pissed and going us against the world(something that can’t be counted on a lot at osu). Never has his team ready for the meech game and showed up vanilla and lazy against Miami this year in the playoffs. It’s a good problem for college football to have, urban Meyer would’ve won two more titles with these rosters.

Urban had amazing teams in 2015/16 and dropped the ball

He also got blanked 31-0 by Clemson in the playoffs

It’s an Ohio State thing

EDIT

He also let a generational talent transfer down to LSU and I’m very thankful for that mistake

For LSU it's considered a generational QB. For Alabama, it's just another season.

Cool do south carolina's playoff record next. Georgia and Bama fans sure go ahead and talk shite but come on, are you seriously implying you wouldn't take the records you just posted if it was your team?

Not as bad as Clemson, which apparently had a lot of high end players.

Tell me the names of all of your 6000 yard passers with 60+ TDs.

But didn't we win the SEC and a National title that year. You can't say a year is a choke if you literally won the biggest prize in the game......

1995 Nebraska very much kicking our arse in the a Natty is the very clear answer. They literally bent us over and made us their bitch..62-24..and it could have easily been larger.

And they won a national title with those guys 2 years ago. They also only lost to the two teams who played for the national title this season.

They were the best team 2 years ago and a top 3 team last year. He also was a missed field goal away from winning in 2022. If JSN was healthy in 2022 they put up 60 points on UGA and win going away

What are Bama fans melting about again? What do you disagree with about my post?

Ohio State was oozing with talent, especially on the defensive side, but was fairly unbalanced with their "meh" offense (which is unbelievable when you have Jeremiah Smith). Ohio State had the best defense, but Indiana was the more complete team. An OSU-IU rematch would have been interesting for sure.

At least that was a 1 point loss to a team that finished top 15. It was fun seeing them blast 11-1 Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl.

Not as fun as watching Florida obliterate undefeated Cincinnati and Brian Kelly in the Sugar Bowl the next season. I watched that game with my family and got into a disagreement with my grandmother because she thought that it was totally un-classy that Urban Meyer was running the score up while I thought it was hilarious.
