lewis and herschel
they literally seem like they have had roughly half the guys drafted so far ...

At least that was a 1 point loss to a team that finished top 15. It was fun seeing them blast 11-1 Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl.
Hard to call it choke when the team ends up winning the Natty. That Florida team steamrolled everyone else. It's hard to believe that Florida has never had an undefeated season. Would have loved to see a four-team playoff in 09'; the Gators would have annihilated Bama in the rematch. I'm not sure Florida has ever choked away a championship. In the years that they did not win the Natty, they were just not good enough, or they lost to a team that was as good as them or better (Nebraska in '95, Alabama in '09).
The only major chokes I think of with Ohio State would be '98 Michigan State, '18 Iowa, and '19 Purdue. Hard to call a loss to a top ten Michigan State team (2015) a choke.

I mean they were no. 1 most of last year and only lost to the eventual national champ and the runnerup, if that's screwing a team up, I'll take that over any of the BK or Les Miles garbage 24/7/365

Day at least put 4 guys from the OSU trenches into the first 2 rounds. In Miles tenure he went
2006 - 0 (first year so a pass)
2007 - 1
2008 - 1
2009 - 0
2010 - 0
2011 - 1
2012 - 1
2013 - 1
2014 - 0
2015 - 0
2016 - 1
2006 - 0 (first year so a pass)
2007 - 1
2008 - 1
2009 - 0
2010 - 0
2011 - 1
2012 - 1
2013 - 1
2014 - 0
2015 - 0
2016 - 1

Scorned gumps are melting while claiming everyone else is melting. It’s fascinating
Julian Sayin would have been backing up Ty Simpson last year based on seniority and would be competing with Keelon Russell for the starting job in 2026 (which isn't a guaranteed W for Sayin). Scorned? Not really. Sour grapes? Maybe a little.

Clem in 19, uga in 22 were complete meltdowns
Clemson 2019 had legit 5 terrible calls all against OSU. That is still the only game I actually get upset about and blame refs. It was legit terrble.
UGA 2022 was a meltdown on defense paired with having no offensive skill players healthy. By end of that game OSU was playing their 4th string RB and had a former walkon in on 2nd down who dropped a pass. If that ball is caught it's a far more makeable FG (likely around 43 yards).
OSU didn't have their top 3 RBs, their top TE and were without JSN and Marvin Harrison Jr. No matter how stacked a team is hard to win without 6 of your top 7 offensive weapons

Losing Caleb Downs, Justice Haynes, Roydell Williams, and Earl Little hurt Alabama a LOT more than losing Julian Sayin.

What makes you say that? 2009 Florida struggled against 4 or 5 unranked teams on their schedule that year. They should have got beaten by Arkansas, but they got bailed out by multiple horrible calls. They scored 3 points in the second half against LSU. We beat them 32-13 in the SECCG. But they would have annihilated Bama in a rematch? Make it make sense.

Georgia feasted on this in both national championship seasons under Kirby.

Tebow-led teams were often two notches above after a loss. They absolutely obliterated Cincinnati. Urban Meyer with preparation? Yikes.

And they won a national title with those guys 2 years ago. They also only lost to the two teams who played for the national title this season.
They were the best team 2 years ago and a top 3 team last year. He also was a missed field goal away from winning in 2022. If JSN was healthy in 2022 they put up 60 points on UGA and win going away
Don't listen to these people Buckeye06. Ryan Day is a great coach and always has been. I think a lot of the jealousy from other fanbases comes from his enviable winning percentage.
And, he is the best African American coach to ever coach the game of college football in the United States. A lot of people don't like that either.

They needed to learn...it was funny...though being on the other side of blowouts...never bothered me at all. You play to win, not be nice and shite.
