That would be every team that finished the regular season undefeated that subsequently lost either the conference championship game, lost in the playoffs or just didn't get invited to play in the CG or CFP.

I take OP to mean your teams record would be, ??-0-0 after ALL games have been played, ALL games.
No losses, NO ties, not just undefeated.
No losses, NO ties, not just undefeated.

There was a weird period where Penn State got penalized because people thought "eastern football" was inferior.
It probably wasn't until Pitt ('76) won the NC and Penn State played Bama to within one point in the Sugar Bowl ('78) that that bias went away.

Then why did he include 2011 LSU? They were 13-1, not undefeated.

Too bad you lost the second game. 1/9/12 really fricked y’all up.

That 2011 LSU team has to be a top 5 team all time that didn't win the championship.

1996 FSU suffered the same fate as 2011 LSU. Beat UF in the regular season and lost the NC game rematch.

I'd put 1945 Alabama in that category, too. They blew everyone out that season:
@ Keesler Field (W) 21-0
@ LSU (W) 26-7
vs. South Carolina (W) 55-0
vs. Tennessee (W) 25-7
vs. Georgia (W) 28-14
@ Kentucky (W) 60-19
@ Vanderbilt (W) 71-0
vs. Pensacola NAS (W) 55-6
vs. Mississippi State (W) 55-13
vs. Southern California (W) 34-14 [1946 Rose Bowl]
