I just had a GMC ad that expanded to take over half my screen (mobile). If these things don’t stop I will quit visiting this site

510=30; 528=45
I have taken them both, the new one is easier to game

I was thinking this is a terrible decision, they ought to just kick it, then the backup qb throws a dime

Win today, and atop the nfc south. They won’t go deep but could win a playoff game

They should force the player coming off a recent concussion to wear the neoprene helmet cover

My issue with it is the whole conference champions bring added value approach they leaned on a few years back.
We won the sec and our reward for it was no movement in the poll at all. It’s like they changed their metric to now favor the eye test.

Zagreb is a dump and one of my least favorite capitol cities in all of Europe. If you must go I would encourage you to stay near Plitvice Lakes in the country side. Seriously it is quite grimey and the locals are not very welcoming, even in the touristed parts. Dubrovnik is just okay. It is worth seeing, but honestly you only need 3 nights there max. Approx. 90% of the locals moved out of old town (the touristy part) since the 90s and essentially the city itself is really cool but on the flip side it is over touristed, overpriced, and you can see almost all of it in a single day.
Slovenia is a hidden gem and I highly recommend more time there. You can spend a few days at Bled and a few in Ljubjlana and honestly wish you spent more time. It is such a green country. See the Skokjan caves or Predjama castle (IMO the best castle tour in my whole year living in Europe)
Salzburg is cool. 2.5 days there is more than enough. Innsbruck is cool too, especially if you are there in the winter.
Venice is crowded but could be cool. Personally I would go if you are in that side of the Adriatic, but you could also consider Trieste if you want to save money.

Alabama loss means they are out. In that case, Miami and ND both make it.

re: Anytime We Are Convinced of American Infallibility, Just Recall the Era of Freedom Fries

French fries actually hail from Wallonia or the French speaking part of Belgium. The doughboys over there in WW1 misattributed their origin as French.
Any “name change” in order to get back at the French is as stupid an idea I’ve ever heard.

Just finished the limited series after 5 days, and was quite impressed with it. Lots of good twists and overall easy watch. Anyone else see this? What were your thoughts?

re: Bring back the computers for the CFP
Posted by ArmydawgMD on 11/19/25 at 5:38 am to UTprideofTX
BCS is calculated from 1/3 AP poll, 1/3 coaches poll, and 1/3 computer data. I don’t trust AP voters at all. The coaches poll is typically better but they have other priorities than to make rankings. The computer poll is ok I guess.
re: Would you want to play in the SECCG.
Posted by ArmydawgMD on 11/16/25 at 6:53 pm to SemperFiDawg
All the CFP first round bye teams lost last year. I'd rather go into the CFP on a level playing field. The ideal scenario is playing as a 5 seed against the Group of 5 champ, followed by the 4 seed.
As we saw last year, we won the SEC championship, but it cost us our starting QB. We probably would have beaten ND with Beck (at least my opinion). So I am in favor of skipping the SECCG.
Plus it also brings attention to how pointless the SECCG is anyways in today's landscape of the 12 team playoff. It is an extra game that can only hurt you. If Alabama loses to Texas A&M as their 3rd loss, they seriously may get left sitting at home. I hope that happens so they get rid of the SECCG altogether

Crazy to me is how much she delayed the investigation with uncooperability/repeated questions/medical care etc.
Makes you wonder if she actually was drunk then she could have bought herself enough time to sober up before the testing was done.
