Anyone think this will get Pete in trouble and a punishment to him and to Ole Miss football program?

Between this and the Judge in the Chambliss ruling trying to big dick the NCAA's legal team because they "disrespected" him, which will probably piss them off enough to appeal his decision, Ole Miss fans better buckle up and prepare themselves emotionally for disappointment this off-season. It's going to get a little bumpy.
Can't wait

So the NCAA does not have a set punishment criteria for rampering, so they will just make it up because of feelings.
Sounds like a new lawsuit against NCAA coming and at least furthering the journey to irrelevance.

The NCAA can say whatever but they've not shown any teeth

I didn’t read article, but I imagine retroactively punishing anyone for new proposals that weren’t in effect at the time is off the table

Ole Miss lawyers are about to end the NCAA as we know it.

Pete will say, unlike Ole Miss’ recent success that has NOTHING to do with lane, this tampering all started and was ALL initiated by lane.

That's the dumbest thing I've read on the rant in months. Congrats.

In other words there are no rules in place and the NCAA is powerless.

So no penalties are in place but you think the NCAA is going to create these penalties then retroactively punish programs?
I’ve read some dumb shite on the rant in my time but this is up there

Until the University president’s and or anti-trust regs give the NCAA their balls back none of this amounts to shite.

NCAA is worthless and can’t do shite
There are no rules and until there is a new governing body with real authority, let’s stop pretending there are.

The NCAA doing anything is so full of hypocrisy. The irony of all this is the transfer portal with little or no restrictions and NIL money flowing like cheap whiskey.
These politicians, as I will call them, because that is what they are, did absolutely nothing to set up rules for everyone to follow. If you ran a business you would fire these clowns.

This is stupid. There are most definitely rules, people just prefer using the court system to not have to abide by them.

If they’re not going after Miami, LSU, and several other teams for tampering. The NCAA is corrupt..

I don’t see how he could get in trouble for something that happened before the new policy was in place. The courts would likely laugh it out of court.
