Scott Woodward is a fricking idiot

Bro spent money at LSU like a housewife on Xanax and left the two programs that matter most in terrible situations.

He did make some really nice non revenue*** hires but wgaf

He and Jimmy Sexton are sitting in a beach somewhere laughing their asses off.

Probably on Epstein island.

We got two national titles and a conference champ out of that pud.

And a multimillion dollar buyout for yet another pud.

Woodward is just a really unimpressive human being. It makes complete sense he has deep political ties. Very backroom guy who was way too private for an athletic director.

frick him incredible the money he cost both schools.

By how is what yall just did with Lane any different than what Woodward did with Kelley? Only difference I can see is that Kelley had more proven and consistent success as a head coach when yall hired him from Notre Dame. With Lane, you promised the money regardless of his spotty track record.

That doesn’t mean it won’t work, but there certainly is no guarantee that it will. If he fails, yall bitches is toast.

But you actually know that. you’re just a miserable troll.

I mean, LSU hired him AFTER that Jimbo debacle. And they got… the BK debacle.

I don’t understand the Woodward hate coming from the LSU side. He did a very good job as AD for LSU imo. Hired Mulkey and Jay who have pulled more than their fair share of the weight of the athletic department. I get the BK hire didn’t work out (that does happen with CFB coaching hires). But idk any LSU fans that I spoke to when he first got hired that were upset about getting BK. Hindsight is always 20/20 tho

Mulkey was an easy hire because she wanted to be here and he just got lucky with JJ. I doubt he put much thought into it when he offered him. A blind man playing darts hits a bulleye every once in a while. That doesnt excuse the absolutely atrocious hires/contracts in football and basketball.

There's never a guarantee, you just make the best hire possible and hope it works out.

He also torpedoed the MBB program when he fired Wade and hired McMahon.

To the best of my knowledge it sounded like Wade was a sacrifice meant to spare the football program some punishment. Is that not accurate?

It took way too long for this response to be dropped. Kudos, sir.

Yes, but they're pretending the buyout isn't guaranteed to say it isn't.

Jay was forced on Woodward and wasn’t even one of his top two choices.

Mulkey was born and raised 30 miles from Baton Rouge. She was having serious disagreements with the new Baylor AD. She wanted out of Baylor and coming back home, to be close to family was an easy choice for her.

Woodward forced Bo Pelini on Coach O when O didn’t want him. Pelini was a total disaster.

Woodward forced Brad Davis on Both Coach O and Kelly. Worst O line coach I’ve ever seen.

Hiring a 62 year old, unmotivated, looking for a huge retirement payday from New England mis fit fraud, and giving him a 10 year guaranteed contract was pure insanity.

Try again.
