Which SEC Fan Base has the worst keyboard warriors but are the best to be around?

They aren't really bad about being keyboard warriors but I've had some good times with Georgia fans. Texas ATM was fun, too. The midnight yell thing creeped me TF out, though. The most fun I've had at an away game was at Moo State. I don't really take anonymous message boards seriously, all the fans are pretty much hear to talk shite and goof off. Gotta go to an away game to see what they're like.

Florida, Bama, TN, and Ole Miss fans are the worst I've ever been around at games.

All the Aggies I know in real life are cool. SE TX and Southern Louisiana have some similarities. Just like the Mississippi Gulf Coast is basically an extension of SELA meanwhile Northern Mississippi is nothing like the culture down here.

I do think Tennessee is like this to a large degree.

You are wrong because Vol fans are awful both online and in real life. Just nasty, trashy people.

I will say that none of the LSU fans I've met in real life are anything like the lowlifes that populate this board. It's like this place is some kind of asylum where they lock away all their worst fans.

I have limited away game experience, at least in recent years. Of course I live in Alabama so I’ve been around Auburn fans my whole life. It’s a weird dynamic that most college football fans don’t understand. Hell, I married into an Auburn fan family. Framed Daniel Moore “Bo Over the Top” print and blue and orange tiger paw light switch covers in the den. My father in law was a good man, though. I bought him an Inside the Auburn Tigers magazine subscription for 20 years.

My most recent away game was Bama vs LSU in 2018. Pregame we hung out in Touchdown Village and the bayou baws were super cool. Lots of food and drink were offered. My GF had a crimson jumper on so we stood out. One group had a huge stuffed Big Al hung in effigy and took turns with a broomstick on him. Typical fan shite. They probably cussed us when we left but most were chill. After the game (29-0) we got the hell out fast.

A&M fans have been some of the best in-person fans.
UGA and Vol fans have easily been the worst.

A&M, easily. They are mostly pretty cool irl. I would also say Alabama fans. Always great hanging with them when they play at Tiger Stadium.

I vote us LSU & A&M.

A&M fans are great IRL. LSU fans are annoying but will shower you with food and drinks. You just have to put up with the drunken loudness & partying.

The problem with the internet is if 10 fans are in a thread, it is easy for one person to wreck the thread. If 10 SEC fans are talking at a tailgate, it is not so easy for 1 person to wreck the conversation, as everyone will just ignore them. So it seems like fans are worse on the internet, but only because it is harder to ignore the idiots. You can't turn your back to them or give off body language suggesting they are out of line, and there is no threat of getting the shite beat out of them to keep them in line.
