How’s your team doing in the portal this year?

I know Auburn had a bunch hit the portal. But I’ve seen where we’re got a lot of players out of the portal. Whether or not we’ve come out ahead, I can’t say. Overall I like what I’m hearing though.
So, who are the winners and losers in this year’s portal?

I think we did alright considering our budget. I expect the offense to be much improved if Philo is decent at QB.

I think LSU did very well even though I don’t keep up with all the portal stuff. Remains to be seen how well they did until next season.

I’d say we’re doing quite well. Definitely filled those positions of need on the line and at QB.

There are intangibles that really can’t be
answered until the next season is underway…..a lot guys playing together for the first time , how well do they jell ,
the right chemistry ? Shorter time now for developing a team.

I have to agree. Genuinely shocked by some of the UK pulls. The enormous and i mean, GIGANTIC elephant in the room is the Sloan hire. I just can't make that one make sense. But Stein wins the "Most Surprising Results" award IMHO.

On paper, Ole Miss appears to have done really well. Ole Miss is still looking to add a tackle but the defense appears to be heading for some significant improvements. Believe we signed 9 sitting P4 defensive starters to go with retaining key players on that side of the ball which should give us actual depth there next year. I would have liked another QB but the Chambliss situation tied our hands there.
