Higher than Johnny Feetball.

He's probably the 2nd best if you're talking about one season, as much as I hate to admit it Scam was the best for one year hands down.

In college? Dumb thread if so

Danny Wuerfel SEC GOAT QB overall.

he is better than any QB who ever came out of A&M. but I would say he would be ranked no. 1

I take Joe as 1b to Scam for 2 reasons. I think that LSU team had 15ish NFL players. Newton and Fairley carried that team essentially. Reason 2 is @ 55 seconds in this clip. While Burrow is elite as hell he could at least be tackled.

He carried a team of scrubs to the natty. Auburn legitimately struggles to go .500 without Cam that year, that's just a fact. That defense allowed 24 ppg and Auburn had 0 RB's/WR's/TE's drafted
These were the NFL players that started on that team
Cam Newton #1 overall 2011
Nick Fairley DT #13 overall 2011
Zack Clayton DT 7th rounder 2011
Lee Ziemba LT 7th rounder 2011
Brandon Mosley RT 4th rounder 2012
That was it and Ziemba was only picked by Carolina because he played with Cam

Cam Newton and Joe Burrow are the top two in no particular order.

Why does every thread creator today have a severe case of retardism?

Why don’t you simply conduct a poll?

Which SEC QB has 4 SEC titles to go with his NC and Heisman.

Based on individual performance in a single season?
Burrow, Newton, or Manziel (though Newton did it with fewer weapons around him)
Based on multiple seasons, individual performance?
Tebow
Based on team accolades (winning the most titles)?
McCarron
Single season statistically?
Jones passing, Manziel overall
Career statistically?
Tebow
I think you have to say "modern" because Borrow had more rules that benefited an offense than, say, Spurrier or Stabler ever did. I'm not saying they're better, but rather it was a VERY different game.
Burrow is easily top 5 modern SEC QBs, but things get prtty muddled at that point as to who is "best"
