Offense just as good, and they actually field a defense.

They're a more complete team, that's for sure.

Offense is not as good. Defense is better. They are MUCH better coached.

2019 LSU elevated to an unreal level in the playoffs.

If Indiana put up 70, that LSU team would have put up 71. That team wasnt beatable in the postseason.

Not to mention the SOS doesnt even compare.

LSU stopped a 30 something game winning streak against Clemson in a blowout. With T law.

This is a fools comparison.

That's dumb. How many first round picks on the LSU team?

They actually remind me of 2019 LSU. They smoked OU and Georgia in the playoffs just like this.

I don’t think any college defense ever was stopping that offense. Would love to see Burrow, Chase, JJ, Terrace Marshall, CEH and company against that well disciplined defense. We did see them against Bama, Georgia, OU and Clemson. All those defenses had legit NFL talent. Clemson and Venebles made them work a little bit in the end couldn’t do it.

I’d be worried about the D against that ball control offense but LSU would pull away eventually. A once in a lifetime collection of talent on offense on a college football team.

LSU fans melt over people criticizing a guy that hasn’t even coached a snap for them yet. The bar isn’t very high.

I sure would pay to watch that game. But LSU D finally got healthy towards the end.
