Both joined Ole Miss last night while everyone else remained in Baton Rouge to continue portal efforts.

Thought Weis Jr was eating dinner with Sam Leavitt last night. This man is everywhere all at once.

I'm pretty sure Weis made it clear to all parties especially LSU that he wanted to coach through the CFP. May have even been a condition. Good news is we have a good OC and HC. Hopefully Miami sends the land bears home this Thursday.

Lane has reached an agreement to let Charlie Weis Sr. coach for Ole Miss in lieu of Jr.

I don't know why they're helping, Ole Miss can easily win without them. The Rebs are a powerhouse, blue blood program with plenty of natties since 1960.

Why would they need these guys to help? Ohio State sent their OC packing.

Even if you guys lose without them, there's always next year and the years after, right. You guys contend for natties all the time.

Glad the bayou is finally coming to terms with this. Acceptance is the last stage of grieving the death of your formerly relevant program.

By the title game, will probably just be CWJ.

Surprised by Smith.

Yall seem to be real mad at these assistants for doing what Joe Brady and Dave Aranda did in 2019.

Weis should break away from Kiffin and go to the NFL.

We will use your coaches at our leisure, not like they're doing much in the portal anyway

Both Aranda and Brady were hired in their new roles several days after LSU won the natty.

Welp, better calendar. Not sure you can blame assistants for wanting to be involved in a national title run. Just a bad situation.
