I thought everything was going to change with Wade and he got a bucket of money to spend?

Your favorite coach wasted every fan’s time with a 17-55 SEC record.

You’re not an LSU basketball fan. Why are you even here?

Sounds like Dedan Thomas to Kentucky is picking up steam

I’d rather have Reece

Sounds like they opened up the checkbook for Wade's staff budget.

More like people probably actually want to work for Wade.

The last guy had to resort to program retreads and alumni because he had lame duck status.
Another school’s board that I frequent called Haggerty to LSU on Tuesday. I didn’t want to post here lest I be wrong and have it remembered for the next century haha.

Good get by the General
Bain has bust written all over him. In fact, he’s the one pick I would be less than thrilled about. That means the Saints will draft him. Edge rushers in the first round are a magnet to Loomis despite repeated busts.

Oh well….

Idk what you’ve heard about the gameday experience in Oxford but I can assure you it is underwhelming in every sense of the word

I have a feeling this game will be unlike the others before it

It wasn’t.

Got my tickets, flights and hotel reservations. No better time for my first time to Oxford.

And the days of our transfers coming from powerhouses like University of Portland and Omaha are finally over.

I liked MacKinnon. Thought he played hard and was the closest thing to a clutch player we had on the roster last season.

As for Sutton: I think the fanbase was sold a false bill of goods. He was fine. I just had higher expectations.

It’s insane you have a downvote. A waste of time is the best way to put it.

I think you were the one who said it before:

“There will always be a segment of the LSU fanbase that wants to see it fail.”

Very true. I assume the downvote on my statement is part of that population you describe.

We’ll ignore them. Better days ahead!
Nice to be in play for these type of recruits again.

The last four seasons really were miserable and a colossal waste of time.

If I had to call my super early shot, it’s looking like our backcourt is gonna be Haggerty/Mcneil.

Yes, please

It would be but all these top guys show interest lists of LSU, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc.

Its great to be in that mix but it feels like a longshot.

You have to remember: we have a real coach now.
2 portal entries from the roster so far plus 6 seniors I think. So at least 8 at the moment if I recall correctly

Dude, everyone else has let this go, why cant you?

Listen I’m just worried. We had an X’s & O’s guru and we were still light years away four years in. I’m just letting the fanbase know to not expect too much in the first decade.

Looking forward to the improvement Wade should be able to get us in year 1.

Temper your expectations. I was told that it takes 7-8 years to build a program. Also being a nice guy is much more important than wins. Don’t be spoiled.

LSU is so far away from this level

McMahon pretty much decimated this program. The fact that he got a fourth year was borderline criminal. The idea that he would’ve gotten a 5th year is downright insane. Thank goodness Wade came to restore pride in this program that had pretty much flatlined at the hands of a totally incompetent coach.

But like it has been mentioned. You can have quick turnarounds these days. For the first time in four years, I’m actually hopeful in this program.
I’m more excited for basketball season than football quite frankly. It will be interesting to see how Wade can resurrect a nearly killed-off program at the hands of someone who was wholly unqualified for the position.

Looking forward to LSU basketball being relevant again!

They can all contribute in whatever role they land.

So why couldn’t they contribute last season? Oh that’s right. The coaching was abysmal.
