Points allowed:

Mississippi State: 43
Georgia: 39
Alabama: 24, 38
LSU: 38
Oklahoma: 34
Ole Miss: 10, 34
Vanderbilt: 34
Tennessee: 30
Texas: 27
Missouri: 13
Texas A&M: 10

Eight teams allowed 30 or more points in a bowl game.. And the two teams who allowed less than 14 both lost.

How the mighty have fallen…NIL and the portal is the death knell for the SEC. How ironic.

The following teams were not listed because they did not play in bowl games.

Auburn
Florida
South Carolina
Arkansas
Kentucky

The other 11 who did play in the postseason are listed in the original post.

We let the big 12 in.

This is what happens when you start hanging out with the wrong sort.

You think “I can change them” unfortunately it always goes the wrong way.

In all seriousness we have gotten WAY too small on defense. Look at some of the edge guys/linebackers.

Someone smart is going to start lining up I form again and running roughshod over these guys

These are interesting times

This might mean something, except for the fact that the 3 best defensive performances in the SEC came from former Big 12 schools.

1. SEC went away from what made them great. 2. NIL took some of our best talent

Dude was focused on his new job. The coaching hiring cycle needs a moratorium until after the season ends. Get rid of early signing day.

NIL has made us lose our identity.

We focused so much on getting flashy, high powered offenses, we quit focusing on suffocating defenses.

We turned into the Big 12 and Pac 12

ETA: I fully believe that Les Miles and his offense would feast in today's game. Power I, with a full back leading the rushing attack, and ball control focused on not turning it over, controlling the TOP.

There isn't a defense in the country built to stop that in today's game
