Which coach was better at getting "More with Less" ?
:usa:
Good points, I agree with it really. I do think we'll see it happen a little more from some teams as these new systems progress. There's logic in it and this is a professional league with a playoff now.
Will we ever see a college team rest starters the last game of the season?

Thinking along the lines of an 11-0 P4 team throwing the last game to stay healthy.
I mean, it happens in the NFL all the time

Oklahoma has a good chance of beating Alabama.
Georgia seems to be firing on all cylinders however

Will we ever see Rivals play back to back? EOY Game followed by the SEC championship ?

Could you see a scenario where Auburn and Alabama both already have an Atlanta ticket punched before the Iron Bowl is even played?
Who should have been hired instead of BK?

When turning back the clock and peering through time, which realistic candidates were there that could have proved better?

I always thought Texas Tech vs. Texas A&M was one of the more bitter rivalries in CFB.
I heard once that yalls statue on campus is pointing towards CS, but I never verified that
Does anyone hire Jimbo Fisher this year?

If he can't get back in during a cycle like this, will he ever?
Were the top teams in CFB stronger on average Pre-CFP?

I only start this thread with one basic logical input: Those teams were chasing two spots instead of 4 (or more)
Disclaimer: Not implying that the old ways were better (They weren't).. just curious what y'all think.

Kirby is losing steam.
You should get the licks in while you still can, OP. Soon Georgia will be out of favor.
Those Yellow Jackets are about to get stirred right the F up as well.

The SEC looks pretty good this year.

Top down parity. Even Kentucky, Arkansas, USCe and Miss State are capable of giving someone a game week in and week out.
State just slump busted a long dead streak in conference, and I bet they could've won the ACC or Big 12 this year.

Jimbo deserves some credit at Texas A&M

He hired both Mike Elko and DJ Durkin as his D-Coordinators. Both are still doing well in the league.

It's actually illogical the amount of attention that the flagship of Louisiana gets.

Right now they're in what's called the "Dead Cat Bounce" phase.
The chart below will illustrate better what the future holds.
