For the gambling types, LSU is down a plethora of starters. The defense is basically the second string, and the offense couldn’t score before losing the top wideout. Houston has its full roster somehow, no starters have opted out. Lay the -3 and make some money.

We need to just go ahead and lay these bowl games in the weeds.

But only if Williams and Metchie had played.

We are cowards and don’t want to get embarrassed by a school just down I10.

I'm not so sure. I've heard ( from reliable sources ) that LSU can't lose !

Grab your sack, baw. A lot of kids interviewing to be kept around, to get more money, or to earn a spot on another roster.

Fritz is a top 10 coach, he has built at every level: D2, FCS, G5, P4. He’s got a good 7-10 years left to make an AD in the B10/SEC look really smart.

Why is it so easy to quit on LSU ?!! Going back to the Les Miles days when the Tigers went from #1 or #2 in the initial CFB Playoff rankings to an afterthought most of the team quit and didn't play the bowl game. Why is it so easy for their players to chunk that purple and gold jersey in the trash and opt out ?

We’ve fallen hard and fast since 2019 trying to keep it competitive with Houston in the Texas Bowl.

Why wouldn't the NIL agreement prevent opt outs?

Good question, have not seen the contracts. I think they should have to pay back a full game check.
