Disappointed he didn't get the job?

Disappointed that Michigan didn't think enough of him to give him the job?

Anything?

I think he and his agent keep flirting. It’s annoying but that’s worked very well for him.

$11M / year, is a lot of money for Drink.

Agreed. Drinkwitz is a solid coach. Given what's happening in college football, it's important to hang onto him, if you can. Bit of a risk for Mizzou and for Drinkwitz, but it's so much better than a lot of places right now.

Pretty neutral myself. We could use some drama. We could use red zone production against good defenses more.

Heard of the first one, but the 40k thing makes me think you are nerdier than Drink by far.

Bingo. It's just his agent doing work, doing his job basically.

Drink's compensation is now in rarified air, and so follows higher expectations. We'll see if this creates some angst with Mizzou boosters.

Given how efficient he was with the portal additions this year and still topped out where he did it’s entirely possible we’ve seen what he’s going to be: an 8-4 to 10-2 guy who in an expanded CFP can reach the playoffs but who struggles due to roster deficits against most other elite teams.

That’s a pretty damn good window for Missouri as long as they remain realistic with it.

Or, it could be that roster building through hs and portal recruiting is his strength and this is the time of year where he makes his money.

The majority of the "reports" are the coaches' agents leaking false info to get raises. Most are BS.

To be quite honest, a number of us are still highly pissed the Chiefs are moving across the state line. Same metro, yes, but anyone who says that is ignorant about the pure hatred between Missouri and kansas that reaches far beyond sports. And anyone who says he or she always thought Aarowhead is in kansas is educationally challenged.
