He said this today during halftime of one of the meaningless bowl games. He never bothered to mention the gauntlet that our team went through during the season and the postseason thus far. Wouldn’t expect much less from a B1G homer.

They have been tested but not to the extent Alabama has.

I don't know why this stuff bothers you guys so much. We don't want the media cheerleading Alabama, we want them continually playing us down and even talking bad about the team so they can use it was motivation during the week to focus and have intensity in film and practice.

I’m not wanting cheerleading. A little objectivity would be nice though.

But why? Literally why does it matter?

Almost every talking head on ESPN is a clown. Why would you expect anything more from them?

I totally agree with you. Everyone knows my feelings about ESPN. The network and media in general hates our program like poison.

I feel like it's gotten even worse since Saban retired. It's like all these folks expected a huge drop-off, and when it didn't happen, they got pissed and ramped up the vitriol 1000%

I hardly watch ESPN and the like. If it wasn’t for CFB and some NFL. I’d have no reason too

They were literally trying to wish DeBoer to Michigan. They’ve been pushing that narrative relentlessly even though we all knew that it was highly unlikely to happen. Our program needs to treat some of these media outlets the same way they treat us. I feel like many of them have crossed the line.

Nick Saban is probably leading the charge. Bama had to deal with rat poison for 15 years. It's time our opponents get a heaping tablespoon.

They have played a couple tough teams and won. So yeah I guess they have been. But nothing at all like the meat grinder Bama went through. Not even close. Bama is going to smack Indy so hard so often.

Would rather be the underdog.

Does “tested” automatically mean “been in a close game” nowadays?

There is a narrative out there that Indiana hasn’t been tested, so I can see why he would point that out. I don’t think that narrative exists with us. Don’t really see the issue here

I didn't realize that people still watched anything on ESPN besides live sports. This is the network that prioritized Stephen A. Smith. Letting them piss you off means they win.

You have to wonder how the SEC stacks up nationally. No question right now the SEC is more competitive than other conferences but what does that mean. Are their best teams better than the best teams in the BIG, ACC and Big 12. Miami holding A&M to 3 points makes me wonder. A&M put 41 on Notre Dame.
