The group of 5 need to put together am all-star team that goes into the playoffs representing the g5.

That is dumb. You don’t need two seperate playoffs for one division. That’s how lawsuits happen bc it’s bullshite and not fair to ALL competitors. Seperate from the G5 or let them send their sacrificial lamb. Not a real playoff otherwise

This is sort of hitting on the point. The one and only reason the g5 is allowed very limited access to the current playoff is to avoid anti trust lawsuits.
The best way forward imo is a g5 separate playoff subsidized by the p4. I think it’ll actually make money and people will watch it because it’ll be equal level competition and actually give those teams a trophy to compete for. I think it’ll actually make money and not be something like the WNBA is to the NBA. Then you can give the g5 the option to continue just accepting their subsidized playoff or to take complete control of it and all of the money it makes along with it, assuming it does turn profit

They’ll never accept it for financial reasons and will have a case against the p4 reason to sue. See my post above.
There is no way to bully them out the playoff as it currently stands. Zero. The only way is to split the two playoffs and it must be done with a financial carrot

The group of 5 sees their own playoff as the same as the old Power 5 teams resisted the BCS playoff for over 100 years of a beauty pageant era. We were made to like it. G-5 needs the same medicine.
