Is Michigan a tier 2 program?

they def consider themselves tier 1, but after thinking which coach would actually want to to go there, I don't think they could poach from any tier 1 or 2, and maybe even 3 program. They think they can get Deboeur. Give me a break, maybe if he gets canned by Bama. Then they throw around stealing Lane, I dont see that happening. I assume they've kicked the tires on Elko, Cignetti, Lanning, & Freeman. I think Heupel sucks, but would he even go there? Clark Lea, Drink, and Dillingham are pretty much the only guys I could see making the move.

Larry Ellison is worth a quarter trillion dollars and his wife withholds the pussy if he doesn't give enough to Michigan, so I'd say that automatically makes it a top 5 job.

Michigan is one of the few actual blue bloods. They could definitely steal a coach if they wanted to.

Michigan is a Tier I program, but they have shot themselves in the foot a few times in the last few decades.
They won a title two years ago. They beat the National champion last year.
They are the winningest program in CFB history.

UM s an elite public school. We would be proud to have them. They can't stay out of their way at times, but saying they are tier 2 is laughable

Michigan is a victim of Affluenza…. They let their abundance of cash and aspirations pervert or eliminate any ethical or moral character and they do anything to win a natty….. recent results. Harbaugh and Stallions win a title. Harbaugh 10 year show cause. Stallions life time ban from CFB. Moore prison time and costing Michigan millions in lawsuits….

Michigan will always remain a blue blood program.
The next program that’s very close to blue blood status is Georgia, their dominance as of late is impressive.

Michigan seems like the B1Gs version of Texas. Prestigious brand, unlimited resources. Consistent under achieving

UM is so far beyond LSU in every aspect of an institution that you sound like an idiot for posing the question.

They should have it stripped for cheating.
Their on field cheating isn’t even as bad as off field. Like UGA, their staff likes to drive drunk, and their AD has covered up rampant sexual harassment and abuse. Death penalty would be deserved, but they should at least get what Ped State got

Ed On NIL….we just walked through the front door with cash
I’m confused. I thought it was legal to pay players now

He also said that prior to NIL, they just used the back door. That was the joke.
