Harding strangling the life out of Kutztown right now. I love the variety of offenses and the purity of D2 football. And some really good players.

I have watched more FCC, Div 2, and 3 the past 3 years than I ever have before

Living in the upper Midwest, and with a boy that went to South Dakota State, I have become a big fan of FCS.
In a lot of ways, it’s like Div 1AA of 50 years ago.

Just watched one of my former players play in the D3 semis in Michigan.
They got beat but it was cool watching him play on the snow and ice.

You do realize that Division 1A was renamed FBS and Division 1AA was renamed FCS, right?

Today is the third anniversary of Mike Leach's passing. He was the offensive coordinator at Valdosta State when I was a student.
Chris Hatcher won the Harlon Hill (D-II Heisman) playing QB under Leach.
Hatcher would later be the head coach. His first staff had Will Muschamp as DC and Kirby Smart as DB coach. Buster Faulkner would play QB for Hatcher and would later be the QB coach and OC under David Dean.
Hatcher lost the national championship game to Brian Kelly in 2002 but would win it in 2004. Chuck Martin was on Kelly's staff.
I saw Will Hall play QB for UNA and then later be the HC for both UWA and UWG.
I could go on, but the point is that you can see some really good football in D-II.

Corrected.
Thanks for not being a condescending prick about it.

Sorry, that was an a-hole post that I regret. I downvoted myself.

I really think that if it got halfway decent coverage, it could be what D1 was in the 70s.

Harding runs a hybrid wing t that's a lot of fun to watch. I moved from Fayetteville to the Rock a few years ago, and don't usually have the time to get up there for Hogs games. So I've been known to pull out whatever black and gold clothes I have available and roll up to Searcy for some football. If you can actually get a seat, playing "find the ball" is a lot of fun. (and pretty hard)

I love it when I can convince my wife to play this game.

Division 2 has much more of the spirit of what college football is supposed to be about. Teamwork, hard work, sportsmanship, etc. Not money, entitlement, me, me, me.
