Not that I'm complaining but, I thought everyone was getting two next season.

I wish. We have back to back bye weeks which I'm not sure has ever happened before. Gonna be a long wait between games

That's insane! ^^^^^
Looks like everyone else, on our schedule at least, is only getting one off week as well.

The season is starting a week later due to Labor Day being the latest it can possibly be I believe. Last year September 1 was Labor Day and the earliest it can fall so there was an extra week essentially.

I don’t see back to back bye weeks in your schedule. Only the one

Unless it’s a Florida joke.
But everyone only gets one bye week this year.

Ahhhhhhh, okay, that makes total sense. Thanks!

Back-to-back bye weeks for Mizzou has to be a scheduling fail by the SEC.
Zero chance that was intentional.
If I’m Missouri’s AD, I'd be raising holy hell and demanding a fix before the ink even dries on those schedules.
ETA: A poster above says he doesn’t see back to back bye weeks on the Mizzou schedule. I haven’t checked either way, but it seems extremely far-fetched.

How does replacing one OOC with an SEC game affect the length of the season?

thats not why, there are stillllllll same # of total games ( 9+3 = 8+4)
Saturdays in the calendar window rather than 14 in other years(such as 2025)

He’s just clowning Arkansas because they’re the opponent after their idle week.

OU gets 8 straight SEC games to end the season without a BYE. I noted that Bama (and probably a few others) managed to keep their November FCS/BYE.

I'm not sure that's correct, but I'll look when I have the time.
Pretty sure there were programs with two off weeks for many years prior to 2017 and post 1992.

It's the 2 bye seasons that are the oddity.
I like them better because it means an extra week of football overall.
