What are you insinuating about the ND schedule? As we have seen a couple years now, teams can go from bad to really good in one off-season due to NIL and the transfer portal.
That schedule could have 5 top 10 teams in it by the time August come around.

Soft as baby shite schedule
They have some helmet schools in there, just so happens most of them suck arse.
I really hope we get out of our game with them in '28 and replace them with a name that sounds good on paper, not so good in reality.

Starting the year in the top 10… Playing 1-2 ranked teams a year and being guaranteed a playoff spot in the top 12…with no conference championship game… Catholic corruption.

That's laughable so I assume you're being sarcastic.
scUM and USC will be Top 25 and perhaps SMU but Top 10?
Notre Dame has had a cherry picked schedule annually. The ACC is their quasi "partner" but has been weak for years. Service academies are decent but certainly never going to be ranked higher than 20 or so and even that is misleading given their competition.
The Irish want to be independent for their NBC deal but the TV ratings aren't great so how long will NBC subsidize them. They also want to be independent so they can schedule, at best, middling competition so they can have a standing invitation to the playoffs.

On one of the talk shows yesterday they said many ADs in the P4 are not happy about that as they would be the only team a guaranteed spot without playing in a conference championship. They were talking about not scheduling ND going forward to prevent them from getting a high ranking. The ACC is already not happy with them and the B12 just called them out. It will be funny if their arrogance causes them to have a g6 schedule going forward

They should be excluded from playoffs unless they go 12-0, and even then thats a fringe home playoff game (not a bye) depending on how other teams do.
The excuse of "when we scheduled teams they werent as bad" barely holds up for this schedule. Wisconsin is the only team that was supposed to be good when they scheduled them (after looking it up, it looks like they were supposed to play in 2020 originally).

It’s coming especially as their tv ratings continue to drop. And considering ABC/ ESPN/CBS/FOX could care less about NBC and the networks are part of the scheduling for the money ND going to find itself on the outside looking in
Every P4 team should refuse to play them until they join a conference and even we they decide to prevent for 4 or 5 years so they miss the playoffs until the next decade
