Notre Dame isn't going 37-4 vs. the SEC over 41 games. Just sayin.

Now is the time for the ACC presidents to show some backbone. After getting pushed around by (take your pick) the SEC, the Big Ten, Greg Sankey, Tony Petitti, the CFP, Florida State (do I need to continue?), stand up and take a stand with Notre Dame.

Call the Irish bluff.

Good guy ACC commissioner Jim Phillips should publicly rebuke Notre Dame, and demand an apology. Or, better yet, state once again that the Irish are not a full member of the ACC.

They are a scheduling “partnership” with football, and a full member with all other sports. Then state, in no uncertain terms, if Notre Dame would like to build a scheduling partnership with another power conference — and take its Olympic sports to that conference — they have the ACC’s blessing.

Or they can shut their cake hole, and enjoy what amounts to a free ride from one of four power conferences.

Notre Dame is nowhere to be found in the Neilson top 14 college football teams for 2025 weekly average viewership. That’s after a CFP run to the national title game in 2024, and after it became the biggest story in the sport over the final month of this season.

How dare the ACC promote a full member and winner of the head-to-head matchup!!!

The Big 12 Commish has already publicly backed the ACC Commish.

More should show up and denounce ND

Notre Dame is probably going to find out that they've stepped on their johnson before all is said and done.

Everyone is tired of their antics.

They've managed to alienate themselves from every direction. They're literally standing on an island in college football right now ... and no one wants to send a rescue boat their way.

Yeah, that MOU they think they're getting from the CFP won't be worth jack if no one wants to sign it.

Klatt had his podcast on and he basically said that on paper, ND would have a decent shot at beating half the playoff teams, but too bad so sad. He also said that 75 percent of their schedule was bad football. And he’s absolutely right

It's really impressive how they managed to almost instantly kill any sympathy anyone had for them getting left out. This should be a case study in bad PR.

You could say there are 2-3 teams in the SEC not in the playoff that could beat half the current playoff teams as well (at a minimum TX and Vandy, maybe even LSU and Mizzou). ND would get crushed in the SEC.

Their Hubris is unreal. Just think they deserve things without earning them because they have a storied history no-one gives a shite about anymore in 2025. You don’t see Texas or Vanderbilt AD crying like a bitch on every podcast and talk show. Such beta energy.

I was shocked to see this asshat talk longer than 90 seconds without gargling OhioSt's nuts but then I realized he was wearing all black- clearly mourning the BigXCG.

I swear to God, the south handled integration more gracefully than Notre Dame being asked to join a conference. They don't have that kind of pull anymore. frick Rudy and that hunchback.

YOU WIN THE INTERNET WITH THIS!!! As somebody who grew up 4 miles north of campus I totally agree and I pull for them. The way they have handled not being in the playoff and always wanting special treatment is insane. They need to join a conference. Pretty soon nobody will schedule them and they will be taking everybody to court for it watch.
