I'd take the bowl game. Play those that are expected to be contributing next year, let those that have exhausted eligibility take off if they want, start the process out of the dead wood.

I'm going to answer the question as though it's not intended to be insulting.
The team should take the bowl, be grateful for a memorable season of growth, and get the extra reps. Also, I enjoy cheese-its, and citrus fruits.
Good luck to your team, y'all have a tough route to the title game after the hurry-canes.
