Their resume's have been greatly inflated by the inferior competition in the Big 12

Watched most of Tech’s games. They are for real. Long, tall and fast. Think of a Kiffin offense with a fast defense.
Have LSU season tickets for 40+ years and have seen a lot of SEC football.
Sent a son to Tech and my money so consider them my 2nd favorite.

This is why 12 teams is too many. Alabama fans like myself are all angsty about getting into the field but the fact of the matter is this team hasn't convinced anyone this year that they are good enough to win it all.

Yeah,people exaggerate saying they're not good teams.
Bit, yeah, they're a lot more on par with Missouri or Tennessee, Vandy at best that just play less really good other teams and therefore up with 1 or 2 less losses.

Texas Tech is 1st in college football at 0.78 points per drive allowed. Ohio State is 2nd at 0.79 nobody else is under 1.
The only defenses that had lower totals for an entire season since 2007 were 2021 Georgia at 0.69 and 2011 Alabama at 0.49
