Is the SEC any good?

Week after week, the SEC seems to disappoint against OOC opponents. At what point do we notice that all of these scores combined are major red flags?
First… against the ACC:
Georgia 16, Georgia Tech 7
Kentucky 0, Louisville 41
South Carolina 14, Clemson 28
LSU 17, Clemson 10
Florida 40, Florida State 21
Alabama 17, Florida State 31
Florida 7, Miami 26
Vanderbilt 44, Virginia Tech 20
S Carolina 24, Virginia Tech 11
Tennessee 45, Syracuse 26
In 10 games, the SEC went 6-4 with an average margin of victory at 0.3 points per game.
That’s bad. How did South Carolina nearly beat Bama and Texas A&M but get handled at home against Clemson by two touchdowns?
How did Georgia only manage to score 16 points against Georgia Tech when 8 other Power 4 opponents were able to score more against them?
How does Kentucky take Texas to OT, play Ole Miss to within a touchdown, and outright beat Florida and Auburn and yet Louisville chops them up 41-0???
Then think of some of the other results…
Ole Miss 24, Washington State 21
USF 18, Florida 16
Notre Dame 56, Arkansas 13
Memphis 32, Arkansas 31
Missouri 42, Kansas 31
I feel like there are a lot of red flags waving. We shrugged off Ole Miss barely hanging on to beat Wazzu… we chalked up Arkansas getting beat twice OOC as just Arkansas being bad, etc. But are we refusing to see a trend?
Arkansas played almost everyone in the SEC to within a score. Their only horrific loss just happened to come to Notre Dame. Weird.
Maybe these are all coincidences, but to me, when there are this many coincidences something is not right.

2025 P4 Interconference Records:
1. SEC (11-5)
2. Big XII (8-6)
3. Big Ten (5-5)
4. ACC (6-14)
I think we're fine

- Gameplan was to limit Techs touches (it worked) by holding onto the ball and running
- starting center left game and is done for year
-starting RB gimpy in second half

Mississippi State would be a contender in the Big 12

So the SEC only managed to come out +0.3 points per game in ten games against the worst Power 4 league?

I see more red flags, but you do you.

Fair point, outside of Texas everyone else sucks
1. Texas

I'd be curious what their differential is against us. Please do that stat for each one. Thanks.

As far as I can tell, the SEC was 3-0 against the Big 12 and two of those wins came from SEC teams that went a combined 1-15 in conference play.
So yes, that raises a lot of red flags regarding the Big 12.
But no one can look at how we performed against the ACC and think we came away looking impressive.

Everybody knows how this game works. The SEC is only good when [Insert your team here] is good.

Second, as was mentioned, we had some key injuries that limited our productivity in the second half.
Finally, the biggest issue was with our game plan, which was to run the ball and limit touches. There were few possessions in this game, as the clock was running for most of the game. It was going to be a low-scoring game regardless just due to the approach being taken.
More can be said, including how our QB had his worst game of the season, but suffice it to say that this was not a game that indicates how good or bad UGA actually is.

Nah I’ll go with our conference is good when our Playoff teams don’t struggle to beat Washington State and have a loss to Florida State.

It's definitely slipping. The SEC went 8-7 in Bowl games last year, something most fans hate to hear.
Throw in the LSU poaching Kiffin stuff, this conference looks awful off the field, that was truly low-class.
I hope LSU stays in oblivion.

Texas 100% missed the playoff because you couldn’t beat Florida.
Florida lost to USF and was blown out by Miami. Funny how that happened. Must all be flukes.

Of course you will; that's the rule. You wanna know when the SEC really sucked? 2010 and 2013. Based on the BCS formula outcome in those years, I'd submit that all of college football had down years.
Just kidding. I'm projecting because Georgia had bad years and our rival didn't. Like I said, that's how this works.

I would say that could be attributed to the 41-0 beatdown UK took this weekend, but if you would like to stress about this, please go ahead.
Re-assess after bowl games and see how it looks.
