100%. He’s light years ahead of Woodward in terms of fan/booster engagement and fundraising which is his primary responsibility as AD. It’s not fake or forced like it always felt with Scott.
My favorite Verge story to tell people is that back in April, my oldest was having an uncharacteristic start to his baseball season. He was in a bad slump.
I guess his grandpa had been talking with Verge about it and one day we received an LSU themed box in the mail. Verge sent our son some LSU baseball swag with a little note that said Remember you’re a Tiger!
That kind of stuff is way beyond what’s required of him. Of course some of that is because of his friendship with my dad, but he’s that way with everyone. He cares about LSU and is more forward thinking about who the next generations of alumnus and Tiger fans will be.

I’ve known Verge a long time through his friendship with my dad. Every time we’re in town for a game he makes a point to come spend some time talking ball with my boys to ask how their seasons are going, etc.
He’s absolutely the quality person you think he is.

Any deal needs to be accompanied by swift and severe consequences. You know the Iranians will look for any opportunity to break the agreement.
