if were up to theCAW, Sumrall would be fired during his introductory presser

Arkansas always keeps their HC on the hot seat for a few years longer than anyone else so I'm going with Auburn or Florida.
Then they'll hire another non-P4 coach, rinse and repeat

Most likely Golden, but UF is giving Sumrall the Harsin treatment so who knows.

Better yet, who quits first?

Depends on how well Red Stick can keep secrets...

I could see Golding out in two if the program craters, every one else should get at least 3.

Is Pete the new HC or interim?

Golding. What makes a head coach standout above the rest is their ability to hire good assistants. Golding will need to rebuild a back office and try to find someone to fill the gaps on the offensive side of the ball.
It won’t last and Ole Miss will soon be looking elsewhere to plug in someone else that already has a group of assistants ready to go.

Pete is an interim so I wouldn’t even put him down on the list honestly.
Arkansas likes to give guys 4-5 years so it won’t be them.
Florida or Auburn is the most likely answer since they are both shitshows and will take 3-4 years to turn around but their fans and boosters don’t want to hear all that.
Kiffin-LSU is destined to be trainwreck in one form or another, just depends on how quickly the rails come off for that. Could see him using LSU for two years and then going to the NFL.

I don't have strong opinions on this one. Golding seems the most natural because his hiring seems it's essentially temporary with a permanent tag. But the history of successful internal promotions is long.
The others are wildcards.
