I'm a LSU guy and find it a bit off-putting. CFB needs to change the calendar. You can't expect every coach in the playoff to not be able to change jobs.

Its a shitty situation for sure. Why not wait until after the playoffs? I dont understand the need to make the move before post season is over. Goes for the players as well.

Also doesn’t help when the media fueled the whole “you must make a decision before the season ends”. And for anyone saying “he should have been more upfront and quick with his choice” remember he had to protect himself as well. People will frick you over in a heartbeat in this industry. He built that program and the only thing he “did wrong” was take another job during a successful season.

I would be disgusted if I wasn't so estatic about the fact that LSU got a dud-of-a-hire and therefore they will NOT any way, shape, form or fashion be challenging UGA's dominance of the SEC anytime soon. Cheers....
