Everyone is freaking out when they have only heard one side of the lawsuit. I feel like LSU has something here, we just don't know about it.

Just maybe LSU is the one being "professional" about their business and BK and his team are the scumbags.

Employees and Employers fighting over severance, back pay, contracts, buyouts, etc. happens all the time. Quit trying to act like other football programs will benefit from this. Arkansas athletics will never be seen at the level LSU athletics is, no matter how much you wish it.

My post was based on “if” the rumors are true. The misbehavior in the office, excessive golfing on game weekends, vacations during bye weeks, not speaking with recruits, drinking problem.

If none of that is true and he gave 100% effort, pay him.

I haven’t read the contract and don’t know what qualifies as “for cause” but I have to believe the lawyers know more than I do and the buyout money is there. There is a reason LSU doesn’t want to pay him and now that a lawsuit is filed, they can’t speak on it.

I think this a whole lot of posturing by both sides and a settlement will be reached.

If BK did some of the shite we’ve heard about, he doesn’t deserve his full buyout. Why you want LSU to bend over and take it up the arse is beyond me. But I appreciate the university having a backbone if what we’ve heard is true.

I for one won’t be disappointed that it’s not Saban, because I don’t believe it’s him and never have.

But I’m worried I’ll be disappointed in the hire in general.

LSU will have their coach before January.

Also, if it’s a current HC, he could bring some key pieces with him to help make his 1st year a little easier during the transition. Hell, a current OC could bring a key piece or 2 with him as well.

A lot of recruits are committed to LSU, not the coach. Most have already made statements post BK’s firing.

A of players and agents are going to be interested in transferring here for the money and NFL exposure.

It will be ok.
