Really crazy how quickly Kiffin just torched his legacy at Ole Miss.

He had 6 great years and was beloved by everyone in Oxford and MS.

Within a week he just blew it all up. The cat can't get out of his own way.

I am fine with him leaving for LSU after 6 years, but going out like this is classic Kiffin. He loves to be hated I guess.

He doesn't care what other people think. He is all about himself.

Blame the ncaa and the signing window. Saban addressed this, but maybe it will be looked at closer after this year. There would be no vacancies left after the playoffs if he waited until then to decide.

You guys are going to have to come to the realization that he never wanted Ole Miss. Ole Miss was a means to an end. He doesn’t want to be remembered as an Ole Miss head coach. He did his time there and now he’s moving on to a place where he can win a natty.

Sounds like he wanted to finish out and lsu was gonna allow it.

Ole miss is the one throwing away their dream season.

If you think about it. Ole miss turned down break up sex.

As much as I would like to make fun of the rebels, this highlights the worst parts of what CFB has become.

This is why we shouldn't hire mercenaries to represent our schools. frick the players and the coaches. The fans who spend their time and money on this just to get punched in the dick when they have a special season is who I feel bad for.

It's unacceptable. Burn it all down.

Ultimately, the blame is on Saban. He rehabbed him and made him palatable to larger programs again...much like Sarkisian.

The funny thing is Saban knows exactly what Lane is. He was all about Lane when he was beneficial to Saban, the second Lane wasn't all in on what was best for Saban he canned him. Now he's telling Ole Miss to do the opposite because his agent asked him to and LsU threw him some money

We get it, you’re sour. Most fans would be.

But don’t blame Kiffin because OM chose to set itself on fire in response to him leaving.

It’s a business you’d do it to. Also don’t act like OM is a saint here. There’s obviously reasons why he’s leaving.

He shouldn’t care about what most other people think. He should consider what his family thinks when making a business decision.

What’s really crazy is that Ole Miss fans can’t handle the idea of Ole Miss being merely a stepping stone to Kiffin’s legacy.

It’s Kiffin. He’s left one place (FAU) under good terms. He always blowtorches the place upon his exit.

This is going to continue to happen until the NCAA fixes the early signing period and portal deadlines.

Get rid of conference championship games, move CFPs up 2 weeks with NC game on NYD.

So why did he blow the whole thing up by wanting to coach the team through the playoffs. You've never built anything so you wouldn't understand it. Now run along and run off some more copies of your Georgia diploma.

Because of his ego. Not because he loves Ole Miss. it’s not that complicated.
