Looks like every fanbase but LSU hates the thought of Kiffin to LSU

Most people are just wildly entertained. I don’t think most of us could have even imagined how this has all played out.

Making it more amazing is that the soon to be highest paid college coach in history has been already been fired by one nfl team and 2 of the 8 original college blue blood programs. That was all by age 45. Lane has never left anywhere without leaving destruction in his wake for the next guy to clean up. But this time will be different.

How did he leave destruction in his wake at every stop? Fau was better off when he left. Ole miss will also be better off than when he got there.

Can you imagine if someone had suggested two months ago that a team was going to spend $147 million to hire Lane Kiffin?

LSU fans would have made up new insults for Kiffin and whoever posted it. They would have run whoever posted it off the internet.

Now the LSU hive mind has received new instructions. Lane Kiffin is the best coach ever, he is worth whatever it costs, and money is no object.

It looks like LSU is going to owe Brian Kelly $54 million; Lane Kiffin $90 million over 7 years with $75 million guaranteed; and Ole Miss $3 million.

Lane Kiffin, the $147 million dollar coach. Plus another $25 million per year guaranteed to be spent on NIL. Thats another cool $175 million over 7 years.

Add in another $7-10 million per year for coordinators, assistants and support staff. That is roughly $60 million over the next 7 years.

The grand total to hire Lane? $382 million. $55 million per year.

Is FAU really better off? Since Lane left their full season record:

5-7
5-7
4-8
3-9

Yeah, he obviously set them up for future success.

He hasn’t left Ole Miss yet. That will be humorous yet tragic to watch.

Negative. OM about to be plundered and burned. Lane's replacement will be facing a complete rebuild.

So we can watch the melt, if he does not go there, it’s pretty simple.

As Bama fan just pointed out, we will laugh at the money required to do this. Reeks of desperation.

Only positive in all this for LSU, the lack of hot women in red stick might keep Lane out of trouble.

Absolutely not. Kiffin will be the tar baby LSU fans can't get rid of. The first time he tweets something snarky the week before or the week after an LSU loss, posters on here will go crazy. The first time he goes for it on 4th and 3 from the LSU 28 and fails to make it will cause tRant to explode. When he, inevitably, loses one of his Kiffin games to the likes of a KY/SCar/State the fans are going to lose their collective minds.

There is no fanbase and no coach more poorly suited for one another than the Lane Train and LSU. Popcorn sales in the southeast are going to skyrocket.

I, as a Bama fan couldn't care less. We've always owned Lane and we've always owned LSU.
