So where does Tennessee stand on their coach if they get blown out by Vandy this weekend?
My thoughts…
Tennessee beat Florida 1 time from 2005 to 2021. Josh Heupel has beat them 3 times. Has also beaten Bama twice, but yet people are saying he’s on the hot seat and should be fired. What in the world is going on with our fanbase? Do they not remember the almost two decades of irrelevance after firing Fulmer????? Ridiculous. ??????

First off, unless Josh loses by 50 points, his seat is cold. The fans calling for him to be fired are morons, and will be ignored by the powers that be.
That hike in the wilderness was caused by a terrible hire by the AD which then snowballed. Mike Hamilton, great guy but horrible AD, hired Lane Kiffin's worthless self. Kiffin damaged the program so much we were stuck with another terrible hire, Derek Doofus.
Hamilton hires Gary Patterson of TCU, who thought he had the job, and that wandering in the wilderness never happens. Drama Queen Kiffin was a worse hire than Doofus.
Tennessee does not have Hamilton as AD. They have Danny White as AD. White is one of the best, if not the best ,AD in America right now.
In the very unlikely event Heupel goes home to Oklahoma, Tennessee will give him whatever he needs to hire another coach.
No, no one else can steal him. The delusional LSU fans have mentioned him if they don't get wonder boy. I wish LSU would try, so we can see the look on their stupid faces when he laughs at them.

No one serious is saying he is on the hot seat.
We have this stupid culture where you can't criticize a guy without people thinking you're saying he should be gone.
I think there are concerns with his ceiling, I think he needs a new DC. But firing him would be ridiculous.

If anyone is blown out Saturday....I promise you it won't be Tennessee. Heupel gained some points with the fans at Florida.....Is recruiting well and has the youngest team in the conference. He is safe!

There’s contingent of people on Vols Nation who criticize Heupel but most on there defend him. He’s where he should be. People forget the Siberia that was Dooley, Botch Jones, Pruitt debacles

Other than the Boogeyman Tennessee owns vandy factor, I don’t see how vandy loses this game. Tennessee has yet to beat a ranked team even at home and their best win is against a coachless tapped out team riddled with injuries.
